摘要： A framework for facilitating the management of, and access to, external learning content within an organization is provided. In various embodiments, a computer system (or group of computer systems) implementing the framework can, e.g.: (1) import, into the organization's learning management system (LMS), metadata for external learning content items provided by an external content provider; (2) enable an organization administrator to assign each of the external learning content items to one or more users or programs/catalogs/curricula in the organization; (3) enable organization users to search for and launch their assigned external learning content items directly from the LMS; (4) automatically log the organization users into the external content provider systems as part of the item launch process; and (5) automatically track completion of the external learning content items.

摘要： A call completion system, method and apparatus for integrated directory assistance and voice activated dialing based upon call transfer rules. In accordance with the present invention, a call completion system can include a set of call transfer rules implicating one of a directory assistance interface and a voice activated dialer interface. The system further can include a call completion processor configured to select one of a directory assistance interface and a voice activated dialer interface based upon an evaluation of the call transfer rules for an incoming query.

摘要： A computer-implemental method of transacting a sealed bid competition has deadline-assurance process which in part upholds the integrity of the sealed bid competition. In a sealed bid competition, a buyer originates a “request for bid” communication that specifies bid items as well as includes a parameter of deadline. Participating vendors respond with “response” communications that contain substantive content presumptively responsive to the “request for bid” communication. The object of a sealed bid competition is to keep everyone, including especially the buyer, blind to the bid responses of everyone else until after the deadline. The deadline-integrity process has the buyer either precluded from access to the “response” communications until the deadline or else has the buyer's activity with accessing the “response” communications is logged so that such log record can thereafter disclose if the buyer voluntarily restrained itself from accessing the “response” communications until after the deadline.

摘要： A longitudinal live rubber bowling ball insert having the purpose of providing a finger hole which is of a size which more properly matches the finger size of the user and, in which an internal wall portion of the insert is provided with a plurality of grooves, said grooves greatly increasing the "lift" which may be applied to the ball by the user resulting with the bowling ball having a more pronounced hook as it travels down the bowling alley. The insert is angled on both opposing ends, thus enabling the insert to be used in bowling balls drilled for right-handed or left-handed bowlers. The terminating angle is necessary in order that the insert, once placed in the bowling ball, does not extend out beyond the ball surface.

The plug-in receptor can be compliant with a known industry standard and can be is associated with a two or more load balancing algorithms. The load balancer can utilize selected ones of the load balancing algorithms to determine which of two or more voice servers are to handle incoming speech processing requests. Selected ones of the load balancing algorithms can include a speech utilization algorithm. The speech utilization algorithm can calculate a speech utilization score for at least one of the voice servers based upon speech processing specific factors.
