    摘要: The present invention discloses an actuating unit that achieves shortening of the actuating travel of the brake power booster when the brake system is precharged. The actuating unit is preferably used with hydraulic brake systems of automotive vehicles having a master brake cylinder and a pneumatic brake power booster connected upstream thereof. The master brake cylinder is integrated in the booster housing of the brake power booster and a control valve of the brake power booster is arranged laterally beside the master brake cylinder. The control valve operates opposite to the actuating direction of the actuating member actuating the brake power booster by means of a lever mechanism with variable transmission. The lever mechanism is adapted to be deactivated in terms of effect after a predefinable actuating stroke of the master brake cylinder.

    摘要: A rear brake pressure proportioning control device is disclosed, with a regulating piston (7) and with a valve closing member (9) being supported within a slidable control piston (8), the movement of the control piston interrupted at a predetermined rate of vehicle deceleration. A restriction (32) between the inlet and inlet chamber within which the control piston is disposed prevents a high rate of brake pressure increase from causing too high a rear brake pressure. A multiple-stage restrictor (26) is positioned in the inlet in order to prevent a very high rate of pressure increase of the brake pressure resulting in too low a rear brake pressure.

    摘要: Disclosed is a brake actuating unit for actuating a motor vehicle brake system of the ‘brake-by-wire’ type. The system includes a brake booster which is operable in response to the driver's wish both by a brake pedal and by an electronic control unit. A device is provided to decouple a force-transmitting connection between the brake pedal and the brake booster in the ‘brake-by-wire’ operating mode. A master brake cylinder connected downstream of the brake booster, a device to detect a deceleration request of the driver, and a pedal travel simulator which interacts with the brake pedal and due to which a resetting force acting on the brake pedal can be simulated in the ‘brake-by-wire’ operating mode independently of an actuation of the brake booster, and which can be enabled in the ‘brake-by-wire’ operating mode when the force-transmitting connection between the brake pedal and the brake booster is decoupled and can be disabled outside the ‘brake-by-wire’ operating mode. The pedal travel simulator (2) is enabled and disabled by electromechanical means (22, 25), electrohydraulic means (40, 47) or pneumatically operable means (96 to 98).
