Abstract:
A tire-wheel assembly and disassembly method is disclosed wherein relative shifting of a tire and a wheel when braking and/or cornering can be suppressed without negatively affecting tire replacement workability. Specifically, a tire-wheel assembly has a wheel constructed from an electrically conductive material and a tire assembled on an outer peripheral side of the wheel, wherein an electrically conductive layer is formed on at least a part of a wheel contact surface of the tire, and an electrically debonding adhesive comprising an ionic liquid is interposed between the electrically conductive layer of the tire and the wheel. When disassembling this tire-wheel assembly, the tire is removed from the wheel after voltage is applied between the wheel and the electrically conductive layer of the tire and electricity is passed through the electrically debonding adhesive.

Abstract:
A non-pneumatic tire tire/wheel assembly including a tire main body 1 at least a part of which is constituted by an elastomer composition, the tire main body being assembled on a wheel. The tire main body 1 is tightened and fixed to the wheel by a tightening member 7 that is embedded in the tire main body 1 throughout a tire circumferential direction. Furthermore, at least a part of the elastomer composition constituting the tire main body is a thermoreversible crosslinking elastomer composition. In the non-pneumatic tire tire/wheel assembly for light vehicle use, a tire/wheel assembly can be provided in which a tire is strongly and reliably fixed to a wheel and, moreover, by which recycling (material recycling) of the tire main body is enabled.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a foam having reduced hardness and density, and an improved resistance to compression set, as well as a foam composition for producing such a foam. This object is achieved by a foam composition described below. The foam composition of the present invention comprises a thermoplastic elastomer which has a side chain containing imino group and/or a nitrogen-containing heterocycle, and a carbonyl-containing group; and a blowing agent.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic elastomer obtained by reacting an elastomeric polymer containing a cyclic acid anhydride group in its side chain and a polyamine compound having two or more primary amino groups, and a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing the thermoplastic elastomer are provided. The thermoplastic elastomer exhibits excellent physical properties such as mechanical strength and in particular tensile strength while retaining its excellent recyclability.

Abstract:
An elastomer composition including an elastomer having a functional group, and a compound having a functional group, in which corresponding functional groups form a cross-link by at least one of an ionic bond, a hydrogen bond, and Diels-Alder reaction with temperatures, i.e., by heating, while the cross-link is cleaved at around room temperature, forming and cleaving of the cross-link being reversible.
Abstract:
A rubber composition containing 50 to 90 parts by weight of a diene rubber and 50 to 10 parts by weight of a gelled rubber having a toluene swelling index of 16 to 150, based upon the total amount of 100 parts by weight of the diene rubber and the gelled rubber.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic elastomer having a side chain having a moiety crosslinkable by hydrogen bond containing a carbonyl-containing group and a nitrogen-containing heterocycle, and another side chain having a covalently crosslinkable moiety, the thermoplastic elastomer being able to be crosslinked at the covalently crosslinkable moiety by at least one bond selected from the group consisting of amide, ester, lactone, urethane, ether, thiourethane, and thioether. The thermoplastic elastomer exhibits excellent mechanical strength without detracting from its excellent recycleability.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method of adhering a vulcanized rubber composition using a thermoplastic elastomer composition capable of maintaining recycling property and excellent in adhesiveness. The above object is achieved by the following method of adhering a vulcanized rubber composition. A method of adhering a vulcanized rubber composition of the present invention is a method of adhering a vulcanized rubber composition using a thermoplastic elastomer composition. The thermoplastic elastomer composition contains a thermoplastic elastomer and a filler. The thermoplastic elastomer has: a monomer unit forming a rubber component of the vulcanized rubber composition on at least part of its main chain; and a side chain containing a structure represented by a predetermined structural formula, the structure having a carbonyl group and an imino group, and/or a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring. The method includes adhering a first member and a second member each composed of the vulcanized rubber composition through the thermoplastic elastomer composition.
