    摘要: An X-Y input device comprises a rotatable ball, a first driven roller held in contact with the rotatable ball and rotatable in response to rotation of the rotatable ball, a second driven roller held in contact with the rotatable ball and rotatable in response to rotation of the rotatable ball, the second driven roller having an axis of rotation extending substantially perpendicularly to that of the first driven roller, first rotation detector means for detecting an amount of rotation of the first driven roller, second rotation detector means for detecting an amount of rotation of the second driven roller, and frictional force imposing means for resiliently urging the ball against the first and second driven rollers to impose frictional forces between the ball and the driven rollers, the frictional force imposing means comprising a contact roller held in rolling contact with the ball and having a shaft, a slidable roller support having bearings supporting opposite ends of the shaft and a spring bearing, a fixed member having a spring bearing opposite to the spring bearing of the slidable roller support, and a coil spring interposed under compression between the spring bearing of the slidable roller support and the spring bearing of the fixed member for normally urging the contact roller against the ball.

    摘要: An X-Y input device has: a sphere to be rotated disposed rotatably; a first driven roller in contact with the sphere so as to be rotated by the rotational force thereof; a second driven roller in contact with the sphere so as to be rotated by the rotational force thereof, and disposed so that its axial direction is substantially perpendicular to that of the first driven roller; a first rotation amount detecting means for detecting the rotation amount of the first driven roller; a second rotation amount detecting means for detecting the rotation amount of the second driven roller; and a casing for housing these sphere, first and second driven rollers, and first and second rotation amount detecting means. The casing is constituted by an upper case and a lower case. The lower case has support members for supporting respective bearing members for the first and second driven rollers. Elastically pressing members each having an end which is split into two are projected from the inner surface of the upper case and adapted to press the respective bearing members by their ends. The elastically pressing members may be molded integrally with the upper case. Moreover, the bearing members may be forced to fit into the support members, respectively.

    摘要: There are provided an optical disk device and tilt correction processing method for performing recording/reproduction by rapidly acquiring an optimal tilt correction value for an optical disk having a plurality of recording/reproducing layers. In an optical disk device capable of recording or reproducing information by irradiating a laser beam to each of a plurality of recording/reproducing layers of an optical disk, the tilt value is stepwise set within a predetermined range at a predetermined radius position of the recording/reproducing layer located at the farthest distance from the laser beam irradiation side so that an optimal tilt correction value can be obtained from the quadratic function by the method of least squares of the jitter or the like obtained from the disk. By applying the optimal tilt value obtained to the other recording/reproducing layer, it is possible to start recording or reproduction in a short time.

    摘要: An optical disk device for recording or reproducing an optical disk has: an objective lens for irradiating a laser beam to the optical disk; an actuator for moving the objective lens in the radial direction of the optical disk; and a spindle motor for rotating the optical disk. After the laser beam irradiated to the optical disk passed through a PID portion of the optical disk, the actuator moves the objective lens in the radial direction of the optical disk at a timing corresponding to a rotational speed. Between signals to drive the actuator, an output time of a deceleration signal is set to a predetermined ratio of a time during which an acceleration signal is outputted. While the deceleration signal is outputted, a light spot passes through the PID portion.
