摘要: An air conditioning system for appropriately controlling the air conditioning capacity by preventing occurrence of cavitation of a refrigerant pump and a method of operating the system are provided.It includes an evaporator for vaporizing a refrigerant by exchanging heat with air in a room to be air-conditioned, a condenser for liquefying a refrigerant gas vaporized by the evaporator, a refrigerant pump for feeding a refrigerant liquid liquefied by the condenser to the evaporator, a refrigerant liquid tank disposed between the condenser and the refrigerant pump to temporarily store the refrigerant liquid liquefied by the condenser, first cold water piping for supplying cold water generated from a heat source machine to the condenser, second cold water piping for supplying the cold water generated from the heat source machine to the refrigerant liquid tank, a refrigerant liquid temperature sensor for measuring a temperature of the refrigerant liquid in the refrigerant liquid tank and a control unit for controlling to supply the cold water desired for condensation of the refrigerant gas to the condenser.

摘要: An air-conditioning control system is equipped with: a first client server containing a job management program that manages jobs for multiple electronic devices; a second client server that determines the required amount of cooling on the basis of the power information for the multiple electronic devices that is output from this first client server, and outputs information that controls the operation of multiple air-conditioners; an integrated management server that inputs information from the first and second client servers; and a control board that controls the operation of the air-conditioners on the basis of commands from the integrated management server. An environment optimization control program, which calculates the temperature distribution and airflow in an electronic device facility when the operation of the air-conditioners is controlled on the basis of the input power information for the electronic devices and the required amount of cooling, is installed in the integrated management server.

摘要: An electronic apparatus, such as a blade server or the like, has a cooling system for efficiently cooling a plurality of heat generating semiconductor devices, such as a CPU, mounted on blades which is freely put on and taken off. The cooling system includes a thermosiphon which transfers heat from devices having relatively high heat generation, such as CPU or the like, to the outside of the apparatus, heat pipes which transfer heat of devices having relatively low heat generation to the thermosiphon, a thermal highway which is thermally coupled to the thermosiphon by the mounting of blades into a housing and collects and transfers the heat from the thermosiphon and the heat pipes, and a condenser which transfers the heat collected and transferred by the thermal highway outside a housing.
