Abstract: A material for audio equipment housing containing a polylactic acid resin composition containing a polylactic acid resin, a plasticizer, an organic crystal nucleating agent, and an inorganic material, wherein the content of the plasticizer is from 1 to 50 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin; and a vibration-damping material containing a polylactic acid resin composition containing a polylactic acid resin, a plasticizer, an organic crystal nucleating agent, and an inorganic material, wherein the content of the plasticizer is from 1 to 50 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin. The material of the present invention can be suitably used as materials for audio equipment of, for example, speakers, television, radio cassette players, headphones, audio components, or microphones, and manufactured articles, such as electric appliances, transportation vehicles, construction buildings, and industrial equipment, or parts or housing thereof.

Abstract: The present invention is a soluble material for three-dimensional modeling that is used as a material of a support material for supporting a three-dimensional object when the three-dimensional object is manufactured by a 3D printer of a fused deposition modeling system and that contains a thermoplastic resin having a hydrophilic group and an organic salt compound represented by a general formula (I) below: (R1—SO3−)nXn+ (I). According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a soluble material for three-dimensional modeling that is used for a support material and that is capable of suppressing the degradation of the modeling accuracy of a three-dimensional object when the three-dimensional object is manufactured by a 3D printer of a fused deposition modeling system, and has a high rate of dissolution to neutral water to be removable speedily from a precursor of the three-dimensional object without use of a strong alkaline aqueous solution.

Abstract: A polyamide resin composition for a vibration-damping material, containing a polyamide resin, a plasticizer in an amount of from 7 to 35 parts by mass, and one or more members selected from the group consisting of plate-like fillers and acicular fillers in an amount of from 15 to 80 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the polyamide resin. The polyamide resin composition of the present invention can be suitably used as a vibration-damping material for a material for audio equipment such as, for example, speakers, television, radio cassette players, headphones, audio components, or microphones, and manufactured articles such as electric appliances, transportation vehicles, construction buildings, and industrial equipment, or parts or housing thereof.

Abstract: A polylactic acid resin composition containing a polylactic acid resin, glass fibers having an average aspect ratio (average fiber length/average fiber diameter) of 5 or more, and a metallic pigment, wherein the glass fibers are contained in an amount of from 2 to 35 parts by mass, and the metallic pigment is contained in an amount of from 0.1 to 8 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin. Since the polylactic acid resin composition of the present invention has excellent moldability, and is capable of providing a molded article with high designability, including a transparent surface layer and an inner layer with a lamellar texture in the nashiji patterns, the polylactic acid resin composition can be suitably used in various industrial applications, such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, packaging materials for household electric appliance parts, and automobile parts.
