Abstract:
A method for operating an apparatus for sterilising containers where the containers are each held and are transported along a predefined path by means of a movable carrier, and a plurality of sterilisation units are arranged on the carrier, each having rod-like bodies that are introduced into the containers and apply charge carriers onto an internal wall of the containers. The charge carriers exit through an exit window of the rod-like bodies, as the charge carriers move in a longitudinal direction relative to the rod-like bodies.
Abstract:
An apparatus for sterilising at least a segment of an inner wall and a segment of an outer wall of containers by accelerated charge carriers, includes at least one first external application device for sterilising at least a segment of an outer wall of containers and an internal application device for sterilising at least a segment of an inner wall of containers. The internal application device at least in portions is arranged to be introduced through an opening into the container in order to apply the emitted charge carriers to an inner wall of the container. The containers are transported along a transport path during their sterilisation, wherein along a segment of the transport path of the containers between the first external application device and the internal application device is arranged a pitch change device to change a distance between two containers succeeding each other along the transport path.
Abstract:
A sterilization device has a rod-like body which is capable of being introduced through an aperture into an interior space of containers and which acts upon an inner wall of the containers with radiation. A lifting cam produces a movement in a longitudinal direction, of the containers between the containers and the sterilization device in such a way that the containers are capable of being guided over the rod-like body. A movement device is provided which is capable of producing a relative movement in the longitudinal direction of the containers between the rod-like body and the lifting cam and of altering a relative distance between the lifting cam and the rod-like body.
Abstract:
A method of operating an apparatus for the sterilization of plastics material containers is provided, wherein charge carriers are generated in a working operation and are conveyed through a guide chamber and emerge from this guide chamber by way of an outlet window bounding this guide chamber and wherein the outlet window is introduced into the plastics material containers at least in part through an aperture of the aforesaid plastics material containers during the sterilization of the plastics material containers. The outlet window is acted upon with a flowable cleaning medium in a cleaning operation of the apparatus.
Abstract:
A system for sterilizing plastic containers and in particular plastic parisons with a transport device which transports the plastic parisons along a predetermined transport path (P), has a first sterilizing device which is suitable for applying radiation to an external surface of the plastic containers in order to sterilise this external surface, and a second sterilizing device which is suitable for applying radiation to an internal surface of the plastic containers in order to sterilise this internal surface. At least one holding device is disposed on the transport device and has an engaging element which can be introduced into a mouth region of the plastic container in order to hold it, wherein at least one component of the second sterilizing device is integrated into this holding device.

Abstract:
An apparatus for the sterilization of containers with a conveying device which conveys the containers along a pre-determined conveying path (P), with a sterilization device which acts upon at least one area of the containers with charge carriers in the course of the sterilization, with a screening apparatus for screening off beams from the environment, which has at least two screening bodies which are arranged with respect to each other in such a way that one screening body is situated on the side of the screening apparatus facing the conveying path (P) and one screening body is situated on the one facing away from it, wherein the screening bodies are thermally insulated from each other.

Abstract:
A device for sterilising plastic containers includes a transport device for transporting the containers during the sterilisation along a predefined transport path, a clean room within which the containers can be transported during sterilisation, wherein the clean room is delimited by at least one wall with respect to the environment, and a first external application device for sterilising at least a section of the outer wall of the containers. The first external application device has a source of charge carriers for generation of charge carriers, and includes a first moving device which moves the containers at least intermittently in the longitudinal direction during their sterilisation. The device also includes a rotary device which rotates the containers about their longitudinal direction at least intermittently during the sterilisation, wherein the rotary device and the moving device are preferably configured in such a way that a rotation of the containers is enabled during a movement of the containers in their longitudinal direction.
