摘要: In order to enable noises entering the ear from random directions to be muted without wearing headphones, this muting device is provided with: a super-directional microphone that detects noises in spot areas around the ear at pinpoints; and an ultrasonic speaker that modulates and outputs a carrier signal supplied by a transmitter according to noise signals detected by the super-directional microphone. Furthermore, an adaptive filter is provided, and the adaptive filter supplies noise signals with the opposite phase to noises detected by the super-direction microphone, and transmits an ultrasonic signal from the ultrasonic speaker toward the eardrum of a human.

摘要: Provided is a pulse detection apparatus and a pulse detection method less susceptible to movement of a subject and less susceptible to noise. An oscillation frequency controller is configured to cause a frequency variable oscillator to oscillate at a predetermined oscillation frequency, which is a frequency within a range assumed as a resonance frequency of a molecule of a predetermined constituent constituting the blood flowing through a human body. The oscillation frequency controller also controls an oscillation frequency based on a phase difference signal and an amplitude signal, wherein the phase difference signal indicates the phase difference between a transmission signal transmitted from an antenna to the human body and a reception signal received by the antenna, and the amplitude signal indicates the magnitude of the amplitude of the received signal. A pulse detector detects the change of the amplitude signal in an amplitude direction as a pulse signal.

摘要: Provided is a detection circuit that has a first inductor connected to two opened input ends and detects an external signal having a waveform with a gradient at each input end. The detection sensor further includes an output circuit that has a second inductor magnetically coupled with the first inductor as a primary side. In the output circuit, a third inductor constituting a delay circuit having one end connected to an intermediate tap of the second inductor is connected. Diodes are respectively connected to terminals of the second inductor in a forward direction. Other terminals of the diodes are connected to another terminal of the third inductor via elements each having an impedance characteristic. The output circuit outputs a detection signal detected at the input ends, from the other terminal(s) of at least one of the diodes.

摘要: A sound wave sensor, capable of reliably detecting presence or absence of a banknote very easily with use of sound waves, is provided. The sound wave sensor includes a sounding body 2 that outputs a sound wave signal of a predetermined frequency, an echo body 3 opposed to the sounding body 2 in a direction in which the sounding body 2 outputs the sound wave signal, the echo body 3 being provided at a position where the sound wave signal resonates at the predetermined frequency; a slit 5 through which a sheet-like banknote 4 passes, the slit 5 being provided between the sounding body 2 and the echo body 3; and a resonance determination unit 6 that determines a resonant state of the frequency output from the sounding body 2. The resonance determination unit 6 determines a resonant state by detecting variation in power consumption of the sounding body 2.

摘要: A device and method for detecting biological information without being affected by sudden-onset signal even when sudden-onset large vibration is caused while driving a vehicle or the like. Peak input and output values of a variable delay device are detected, and the difference between the values is determined by a subtractor. The difference is compared to a predetermined threshold to obtain a positive or negative output as an up/down selection output for an up/down counter. The output of the up/down counter is sent to a variable delay device with a clock generated based on an inputted peak signal of biological information to obtain a variable delay amount corresponding to one cycle of the biological information. When the subtractor output exceeds the predetermined threshold, a predetermined output voltage is generated, and an amplifier connected to the variable delay device is controlled so that the gain of the amplifier becomes zero.
