摘要: An aqueous dispersion of an embodiment includes visible-light responsive photocatalytic composite microparticles containing tungsten oxide and zirconium oxide, and an aqueous dispersion medium in which the photocatalytic composite microparticles are dispersed. In the photocatalytic composite microparticles, a ratio of a mass of the zirconium oxide to a mass of the tungsten oxide is in a range of from 0.05% to 200%, and a D50 particle size in particle size distribution is in a range of from 20 nm to 10 μm. The aqueous dispersion has pH in a range of from 1 to 9.

摘要: In one embodiment, an antiviral material includes at least one microparticles selected from tungsten oxide microparticles and tungsten oxide composite microparticles. The microparticles have an inactivation effect R of 1 or more expressed by [R=log C−log A], when there is evaluated a virus titer by inoculating on a specimen to which the microparticles are adhered, at least one virus selected from a low pathogenic avian influenza virus (H9N2), a high pathogenic avian influenza virus (H5N1) and a swine influenza virus, and irradiating the specimen with visible light having a wavelength of 380 nm or more and illuminance of 6000 lx. for 24 hours.

摘要: A cation adsorbent of an embodiment includes tungsten oxide particles having a BET specific surface area in a range of 0.82 m2/g or more and 820 m2/g or less. The cation adsorbent is added to a solution to be treated containing cations being recovery objects, and the cation adsorbent adsorbing the cations is precipitated. The generated precipitate is separated from the solution to recover the cations.
