Abstract:
Provided is a method for degrading an organic material. Also provided is a useful low-molecular organic material. The method for degrading an organic material is characterized by comprising a step for preparing the organic material to be degraded, and a step for treating said organic material with mother cell lytic enzymes which are formed through cytolysis associated with the spore formation of a spore-forming aerobic bacterium.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is to enable production of high quality eggs in poultry and to provide a method for improving productivity thereof. The invention provides a method for producing a hen egg having improved quality and productivity, the method characterized in comprising a step for feeding a hen on supplemented feed obtained by adding to poultry feed an immunostimulating substance produced by cytolysis that accompanies sporulation of MRE symbiotic bacteria and/or on supplemented drinking water obtained by adding the immunostimulating substance to drinking water, wherein the immunostimulating substance is obtained by culturing the MRE symbiotic bacteria, leaving the resulting culture fluid in a depleted state to thereby cause the symbiotic bacteria to convert to endospores, and removing impurities including the endosporic symbiotic bacteria from the culture fluid.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an immunopotentiating composition comprising an effective immunostimulating substance which can activate natural immunity and a subsequent immunity mediated by lymphocytes without causing any damage to cells. Specifically disclosed is an immunopotentiating composition which is characterized by comprising, as an active ingredient, an immunostimulating substance produced by decomposing at least one bacterium selected from an MRE symbiotic bacteria group consisting of Bacillus sp. (FERM BP-11209), Lysinibacillus fusiformis (FERM BP-11206), Bacillus sonorensis, Lysinibacillus sp. (FERM BP-11207) and Comamonas sp. (FERM BP-11208).

Abstract:
A multi-channel communication system including automatic station selecting circuitry and circuitry for preventing actuation of the station selection circuitry by noise or the like. The station selecting circuitry automatically, sequentially generates a plurality of local oscillator signals which are mixed with incoming information signals transmitted in one or more of the channels of the system. Whenever the frequency difference between an information signal and a local oscillator signal falls within the pass band of the receiving channel, a sensing signal is generated which stops the automatic station selector so that communications can occur on the selected channel. Circuitry is also employed to discriminate between noise and an appropriate information signal in the receiving channel so that the above-mentioned sensing signals are generated only when information signals are present.
Abstract:
A method is provided for the production of alcohol from trees, the method comprising a step of treating a subject tree with mother cell lyases formed through cytolysis associated with sporulation of spore-forming aerobic bacteria, thereby degrading said tree into a powdery state and obtaining a tree degradation product; a step of sterilizing said tree degradation product; a step of treating said sterilized tree degradation product with a koji fungus (Aspergillus oryzae) thereby carrying out a primary fermentation; a step of adding a yeast to the fermentation broth obtained by said primary fermentation thereby carrying out a secondary fermentation; and a step of filtering the fermentation broth obtained by said secondary fermentation, wherein said mother cell lyases are obtained by culturing said spore-forming aerobic bacteria, subjecting the resultant culture medium to a starvation state, thereby converting said bacteria into endospores, and removing impurities including said endosporic bacteria from said culture medium and wherein said spore-forming aerobic bacteria are MRE symbiotic bacteria.

Abstract:
A station selecting system for use in a multi-channel communication system having a plurality of display devices respectively corresponding to the communication channel. Circuitry is provided for placing the system in a monitor mode of operation where all channels are scanned once to determine which ones are available for communication, the latter channels being indicated by actuation of the display devices respectively corresponding thereto. Circuitry is also provided for placing the system in an autoscan mode of operation where the channels are sequentially scanned until a channel available for communication is located, at which time scanning ceases and the selected channel is indicated by the actuation of its corresponding display device.
Abstract:
To provide a method for raising plants that have great vitality and that are strongly resistant to pests and can successfully compete against weeds. The invention provides a method for raising plants with enhanced immunity and biological activity to external and internal stresses. The present invention is characterized by the following: the method includes a step of applying to the target plants a plant immunopotentiating composition containing an immunostimulatory substance produced by the cytolysis that accompanies spore formation in aerobic endospore-forming bacteria; the immunostimulatory substance is obtained by culturing the aerobic endospore-forming bacteria, causing the bacteria to form endospores by placing the resulting culture liquid in starvation conditions, and then removing impurities including the bacterial cells that are formed into endospores from the culture liquid; and the aerobic endospore-forming bacteria belong to the MRE symbiotic bacteria group.
