摘要: A manifold for a liquid material dispenser has a unitary manifold body with process air and liquid material passages formed therethrough. Heaters for heating the process air and liquid material are both coupled directly to the manifold body and cooperate to simultaneously heat both the air and liquid material. The air and liquid material heaters may be arranged in either a generally vertical orientation, or a horizontal orientation with respect to the manifold body. In one embodiment, the process air heater includes a cylindrical member which is substantially exposed to the process air to optimize heat transfer from the cylindrical member to the process air.

摘要: A method and apparatus for securely managing managed appliances such as keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) switches using a network communication protocol is described. A client workstation initiates a management session by establishing a secure sockets layer connection with the appliance over a predefined TCP port number. This secure management protocol is used to manage appliances that support SNMP by tunneling SNMP protocol requests through the presently-described protocol. The protocol includes a login sequence to enhance the security of data transmitted according to the protocol. The workstation can read and set object identifiers in the managed appliance. The workstation can also read and write files to and from the managed appliance. In addition, a single managed appliance can have multiple management sessions open at one time.

摘要: An air purifying device (15) for the cabin of a vehicle (32) comprising a housing (16) having mounting fixtures adapted to attach to the structure of a vehicle, a filter system (17) supported by the housing and having a first filter (18), a second filter (19), a third filter (20) and a fourth filter (21), and an air moving component (22) adapted and configured to move air from the cabin of the vehicle through the filter system. The first filter may be adapted to remove particulate matter that is greater than 10 microns, the second filter may comprise a gas phase air filter, the third filter may be adapted to remove particulate matter that is less than 2.5 microns, and the fourth filter may comprise a photo-catalytic oxidizer.

摘要: In one embodiment, a scalable cross-connect switching system and its corresponding method perform a bridging operation by splitting the incoming light signal into at least a first bridged light signal and a second bridged light signal. The first bridged light signal has a power level equal to or substantially greater than a power level of the second bridged light signal. The disproportionate power levels provide low-loss bridging. Light signals based on these bridged light signals are routed through multiple switch fabrics which provide redundancy in case of failure by switching within the switch fabric. To detect failures, a test access port is configured for monitoring multiple optical paths.

摘要: A speaker enclosure with at least one woofer and one mid-range speaker with associated parallel sound channels and ports for direction of the back waves generated by the speakers. The woofer and mid-range speaker are in a spaced relationship with the sound channel ports for the woofer speaker in close proximity to the mid-range speaker and the mid-range sound channel port in close proximity to the woofer speaker. The sound channels for the mid-range and woofer speakers are adjacent and parallel to each other. The back waves generated by the speakers travel along the sound channels which form a sound traveling path. The ports are located at a distance from the speakers generating the sound waves, but adjacent to other speakers, resulting in a life-like and rich sound.
