    摘要: A process for the preparation of a magnetic recording medium comprising;applying a magnetic coating material composed of dispersing a ferromagnetic fine powder in a high molecular binder onto the surfaces of a nonmagnetic support member to form a coating thereon;arraying one or more sets of magnet pairs on the sides of front and back surfaces of said support member, each of said magnet pairs being deviated by a predetermined distance in the moving direction of said support member such that said magnet pairs will not face to each other; andapplying a magnetic field in such a manner that the magnetic field applied to said coating by the magnet pairs arrayed on the side of the front surface of said support member is greater than the magnetic field applied to said coating by the magnet pairs arrayed on the side of the back surface of said support member, thereby satisfying the requirements ofDo.ltoreq.a,b wherein Do represents a distance between the surface of said support member and said magnet pairs, a an average distance between the magnets constituting said magnet pairs arrayed on the side of the front surface of said support member, and b an average distance between the magnets constituting said magnet pairs arrayed on the side of the back surface of said support member.

    摘要: A method of coating a magnetic disk wherein while rotating a disk held horizontal at a rotational frequency of 5-700 r.p.m., a magnetic coating composition is sprayed onto the upper and lower surfaces of the disk substantially simultaneously, to form coatings thereon, and the disk is further rotated at a raised rotational frequency, to adjust the thicknesses of the coatings. Further, in case of the rotation for adjusting the thicknesses of the coatings, a shield plate and a bottom plate are respectively disposed over and under the disk, or alternatively, shield plates are disposed over and under the disk, whereby the thicknesses of the coatings on both the surfaces of the disk are made uniform.

    摘要: In a device in which the rotation angle of the rotor is detected with a resolver, the rotation angle of the rotor with less error can be obtained while reducing burden of the operator. The measured angle value acquisition unit acquires the measured-rotation angle value of a motor shaft. The error calculation unit calculates the error included in each of measured-rotation angle values. The frequency component acquisition unit determines the phase and the amplitude of a frequency component of the error based on the errors. Thus, by using the error frequency component acquisition device, the phase and amplitude of the frequency component of the error included in the measured-rotation angle value can be automatically calculated and the correction with respect to the measure-rotation angle value can be performed using the acquired phase and amplitude. Therefore, the rotation angle of the rotor with less error can be obtained, while reducing the burden of the operator.

    摘要: A magnetic disk includes a non-magnetic substrate with a surface processed layer having fine irregularities formed at least on a main surface thereof, and at least thin film magnetic film and a protective film formed in that order on the non-magnetic substrate in such a manner that the fine irregularities are duplicated thereof. The surface of the surface processed layer of the non-magnetic substrate has protrusions whose surfaces are made flat and a configuration which exhibits a three-dimensional bearing curve in which the bearing ratio at a section taken at a depth from the top of the surface which corresponds to the portion of the top portion deformed by the head load during the contact start-stops drive is between 0.1% and 10%. The protrusions formed on the surface processed layer have a height ranging from several nm to several tens of nm. The bearing ratio is a value obtained at a depth of 5 to 10 nm from the top of the protrusions.
