摘要： A resin pulley includes an outer cylindrical portion including an outer circumferential surface on which a belt is to be wound, an inner cylindrical portion, and a plurality of ribs connecting an inner circumferential surface of the outer cylindrical portion and an outer circumferential surface of the inner cylindrical portion, which are formed of a resin material. The ribs are provided so as to be inclined towards a circumferential direction relative to a radial imaginary line as viewed in an axial direction. Radially outer end portions of the ribs are formed such that inclination angles of the respective radially outer end portions relative to the radial imaginary line increase as the ribs extend radially outward, and radially inner end portions of the ribs are formed such that inclination angles of the respective radially inner end portions relative to the radial imaginary line increase as the ribs extend radially inward.

摘要： A bearing device equipped with a resin-made pulley has, at one axial end portion of an outer ring, cutout portions which are formed so as to be opened on their outward side of the axial direction and spaced from one another at a specified interval in a circumferential direction of the outer ring. Each cutout portion has a rectangular-shaped sloped surface which is sloped radially outward of the outer ring along an axial direction from an opening-side end to the center of the outer ring so as to adjoin the cylindrical surface portion on the axially opposite side to the opening. Each cutout portion further has side faces which are generally parallel to a vertical bisector plane of the sloped surface containing a center axis of the outer ring on circumferential both sides of the sloped surface in a cross section perpendicular to the center axis of the outer ring.

摘要： There is provided a bearing sealing device capable of substantially completely preventing a leak of grease. A taper end portion of an axial extension of the bearing sealing device has an opposite surface and a rake face that forms a specified rake angle with the opposite surface. The opposite surface forms a narrow passage between the opposite surface and an outer peripheral surface of an inner ring. The narrow passage allows air to pass easily, but it allows grease to hardly pass therethrough. Further, the axial extension includes part of a core metal that extends axially and has its foremost end located axially inside an axial outermost end of the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring. Grease moving axially outwardly on the outer peripheral surface is moved along the rake face of the taper end portion and then guided along a cover portion of the bearing sealing device to an outer ring. The part of the core metal prevents the axial extension from being bent radially outwardly by a centrifugal force.

摘要： In a pulley assembly, an annular joint member made of a high polymer material is disposed between an outer ring of a bearing and a light metal pulley. The joint member has a coefficient of thermal expansion larger than that of the pulley. The outer ring has a coefficient of thermal expansion smaller than that of the pulley. The pulley has an annular boss, an annular rim, and a plurality of spokes which have side faces each consisting of a surface parallel to an axial direction of the pulley. Front faces of the spokes are positioned on one identical imaginary surface of revolution, and rear faces of the spokes are also positioned on one identical imaginary surface of revolution.
