    摘要: Plural photodetectors for receiving light and generating detection signals. A light amount controlling portion is arranged above the photodetectors for controlling an amount of the light to the photodetectors according to an incident angle. A weighting portion for weighting sensitivities of the photodetectors respectively. The sensitivities are weighted to provide a total output characteristic of the weighted detection signals of which magnitude varies according to the incident angle. Weighting is provided by a signal processing circuit by controlling gains, or a translucent film on the photodetectors for controlling transparencies portions above respective photodetectors, or opaque films on the photodetectors for controlling amounts of the light to respective photodetectors. A first function signal may be obtained from a part of photodetectors for an air conditioner and a second function signal may be obtained from all of photodetectors for head lamp on/off controlling. Each coaxially arranged photodetector is divided to provide a semicircle or a semi-ring shape arranged with respect to the front direction of the vehicle to provide orientation angle data to control the air conditioner.

    摘要: A sensor for detecting a quantity of light has a housing, which has an axis along a direction in which light enters with an azimuth of 0°. A right side photodetector is disposed on a left side of the axis, and a left side photodetector is disposed on a right side of the axis. A central photodetector is disposed on the axis with a sensitivity, which is lowered as compared to those of the right side and left side photodetectors. A right side light signal is obtained by outputs from the right side photodetector and the central photodetector, and a left side light signal is obtained by outputs from the left side photodetector and the central photodetector. Accordingly, an adverse effect by a positional shift between a shading member disposed above the photodetectors and the photodetectors is lessened.

    摘要: A light sensing apparatus for different control systems includes a photosensitive element which generates a light current depending on light incident thereto. A pre-circuit connected to the photosensitive element is operative for generating separate basic signals in response to the light current generated by the photosensitive element. Processing circuits connected to the pre-circuit are active simultaneously for converting the basic signals generated by the pre-circuit into conversion-resultant signals having different forms respectively. The conversion-resultant signals are outputted to the control systems respectively. At least one of the processing circuits may include an oscillation circuit which oscillates at a frequency depending on related one of the basic signals generated by the pre-circuit.

    摘要: A pressure sensor includes a case, terminals, a pressure sensing element, a port, and a temperature sensing element. The terminals are assembled to the case by insert molding and connectable to an external device. The pressure sensing element is electrically connected with the terminals and housed in the case. The port having a pressure receiving hole through which a pressure transmitting medium is led to the pressure sensing element is connected with the case. The temperature sensing element is electrically connected with the terminals and arranged in the pressure receiving hole. A part of each terminal is passed through the pressure receiving hole and extended to the temperature sensing element. The extended part is electrically connected to the temperature sensing element. The extending portion is formed as an insert molding portion of the case and held with a material forming the case.

The protective member has a triple-layer structure. The first protective member for covering the terminals has high elasticity to prevent bubbles from being produced in the protective member. The second protective member for covering the sensing element has low elasticity to reduce stress applied to the sensing element. The third protective member having higher acid resistance covers the second protective member so that the sensor has high acid resistance without sacrificing the sensor characteristics.

    摘要: In an ECU in which a sensor IC and various engine control devices are mounted on a board in a case, the sensor IC has a pressure sensor element covered with mold resin having a pressure introduction hole extending outward from the pressure sensor element so as to open to an outer surface thereof. A cylindrical resilient member is disposed and resiliently deformed between an inner wall of the case and the outer surface of the mold resin so as to allow a pressure introduction inlet formed in the case to communicate with the pressure introduction hole and not to communicate with places where the engine control devices are mounted. The case of ECU is fixed to a surge tank so that a pressure introduction outlet formed in the surge tank communicates directly with the pressure introduction inlet.
