To solve this problem, this invention provides an image processing apparatus having discrimination means for discriminating a type of object to be rendered, determination means for determining the presence/absence of synthesis of the discriminated object, synthesis means for synthesizing an object and information of the type of object in accordance with the determination result, and processing means for appending information indicating the type of synthesized object to a rendering result obtained by rendering the object to be rendered in units of pixels.

摘要： The present invention is intended to solve a problem which may be encountered during a transfer from a mode for searching a desired still image to a mode for performing actual reproduction during the process in which still image information is reproduced from a tape-shaped recording medium on which a multiplicity of helical tracks are formed for one picture of still image information, one picture of still image information and address information indicative of the number thereof being recorded in the multiplicity of helical tracks. The sensation of an operator can be made coincident with an actually reproduced still image, for example, by effecting such mode transfer by detecting and using a number adjacent to a desired still image number or by shifting the tape-shaped recording medium by a predetermined amount. Where a display of the recording video signal on the monitor is excessively covered and hidden by that of the data signal, the second signal processing channel is selected and operated to permit adequate visual confirmation on the monitor of the video signal to be recorded.

摘要： In an image forming apparatus for forming a binarized image upon adding on additional information without degrading image quality, a mode signal assumes an "H" or "L" level. When the mode signal is at the "H" level, a pattern in which a binarized output attains the "H" level for two successive pixels appears in a low-density area of the image formed, thereby indicating the start of data representing additional information. When the mode signal is at the "L" level, additional information is represented by the level of a control signal f. The binarized output is controlled in such a manner that the spacing of black pixels becomes an odd number of pixels in a low-density area of the formed image in a case where the control signal f is at the "L" level and an even-number of pixels in the low-density area of the formed image in a case where the control signal f is at the "H" level. In other words, the additional information is expressed by indicating "0" when the spacing of black pixels is an odd number and "1" when the spacing of black pixels is an even number.
