    摘要: There is provided an electron gun which has an assembly precision improved by the reduction of deformation of an electrode during assembly as well as good focusing performance due to the elimination of positional deviation of electron beams. There is also provided a method of assembling such an electron gun. The electron gun comprises a composite electrode including at least two electrode elements united together and a plurality of electrodes sequentially arrayed along a single axis at predetermined intervals. In the electron gun, opposed faces of the electrode elements of the composite electrode are perpendicular to the axis and the opposed faces are provided with projections 1a and 1b which serve to constitute the composite electrode when the projections are united together in opposed relationship to each other.

    摘要: An electron gun which has an assembly precision improved by the reduction of deformation of an electrode during assembly as well as good focusing performance due to the elimination of positional deviation of electron beams. The electron gun comprises a composite electrode including at least two electrode elements united together and a plurality of electrodes sequentially arrayed along a single axis at predetermined intervals.     摘要: A cathode-ray tube having an electron gun which includes an electrode plate (E) in which a portion having three beam passage holes (H) and a portion having bead supports (S) are formed as a unitary or one piece structure, the two portions having different thicknesses (T.sub.1, T.sub.2), and the steps being inclinedly formed along the boundaries of the two portions. Since the portion having beam passage holes and the portion having bead supports are formed as a unitary or one piece structure easily and highly precisely in the electrode plate, the conventionally employed process of welding can be omitted, and thereby the productivity is raised and the manufacturing cost is decreased. Moreover, use of the material having the steps formed in advance contributes to increasing the productivity and preventing the machining tools from being damaged during the press-forming.

The upper end face of a rubber closed end cylindrical masking cover 32 is elastically pressed against the outside end surface of a cylindrical section 16 forming the hub main body 13a. As a result a border section between the coated section (α8) and the portion adjacent to the coated section (α8) can be made liquid-tight. In this state, coating particles are electrodeposited on the coated section (α8) by bringing a coating liquid 28 discharged from a liquid supply tube 29 into contact with the coated section (α8). By adopting such a method, the problems can be solved.

    摘要: A sheet processing apparatus has a function of stapling sheets together, wherein the sheets are fed from an image forming apparatus one by one after images are formed on the sheets. The sheet processing apparatus includes a stapler to staple the sheets together, a sheet guide which guides the sheets along a sheet transporting path from the image forming apparatus to a position at which the sheets are stapled by the stapler, and a reference surface against which edges of the sheets are butted to stop movement of the sheets. The sheets are guided along the sheet transporting path by the sheet guide and the edges of the sheets are butted against the reference surface at a same position relative to a sheet conveying direction, irrespective of whether the sheet processing apparatus is in a stapling mode in which the stapler staples the sheets or a non-stapling mode in which the stapler does not staple the sheets, and irrespective of sizes of the sheets.
