    摘要: A solid state watch module construction including a plastic substrate and an electro-optical display cell directly mounted on the substrate. The substrate has an integrated circuit chip on one side thereof, and a plurality of printed circuit leads connected to electrical terminals of the integrated circuit chip. The electro-optical display cell has a plurality of electric terminals formed in rows in alignment with terminal ends of said printed circuit leads. The electro-optical display cell is bonded to the one side of the substrate and the electric terminals of the display cell are bonded to the terminal ends of the printed circuit leads.

    摘要: In an IC card in which an IC module constituted by a terminal plate 1 having a connection terminal pattern(3), arranged on a surface of an insulating substrate (2), for external power supply, signal connection, and grounding, an IC chip (4) mounted on the rear surface of the terminal plate 1 and electrically coupled to the connection terminal pattern (3), a sealing member (5) for the IC chip, and a reinforcing member (6) for reinforcing the sealing member (5) is mounted on a card base, the reinforcing member (6) consists of a conduction material, and integrally constituted by a ring portion (7) for covering the outer periphery of the sealing member (5) and a flange portion (8), having almost the same shape as that of the outer periphery of the terminal plate (1), for covering the rear surface of the insulating substrate (2). Therefore, an IC card which is strong to damage caused by disconnection of a bonding wire due to peeling between the insulating substrate and the sealing member caused by external force can be provided at low cost.

    摘要: A process for separating porphyrins, which comprises(1) adjusting the pH of the liquid phase of a culture broth containing at least two porphyrins to about 2.5 to about 4 and collecting the resulting solid containing the porphyrins,(2) either (a) preparing an acidic aqueous solution of said solid and adjusting the pH of its liquid phase left after removal of insoluble matter to about 6 to about 8 to form an aqueous solution containing the porphyrins, or (b) preparing an acid-containing lower alcohol solution of said solid, adjusting the pH of its liquid phase left after removal of insoluble matter, adding water in an amount at least twice the amount of the solution to precipitate lower alkyl esters of the porphyrins, collecting the precipitates and dissolving them in an organic solvent to form an organic solvent solution of the porphyrin esters,(3) contacting the solution obtained in (a) or (b) in step (2) with a copolymer having a surface area of at least about 700 m.sup.2 /g and derived from(i) divinylbenzene,(ii) styrene or its functional derivative,(iii) an alkenyl ester of a benzenepolycarboxylic acid represented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkenyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and n is 2 or 3,thereby permitting adsorption of the porphyrins or their esters to the copolymer, and(4) thereafter, eluting the copolymer to obtain fractions of the individual porphyrins or their esters; and an adsorbent for use in the above-mentioned process.
