摘要: A thermal fuse includes an insulating case having a bottom and having an opening provided therein, a fusible alloy provided in the insulating case, a lead conductor having one end connected to the fusible alloy and other end led out from the insulating case through the opening of the insulating case, a flux provided on the fusible alloy, and a sealer for sealing the opening of the insulating case. The volume of a space between the fusible alloy in the insulating case and the sealer is larger than the volume of the flux. Sealing of the fuse is prevented from deteriorating, and the insulating film is prevented from damage even when the thermal fuse is used for breaking a large current at a high voltage.

摘要: A thermal fuse having a quick melting property is provided. In the thermal fuse, metal layers 15, 16 connected to a fusible alloy 13 are provided at respective leading ends of a pair of metal terminals 11. The metal layers 15, 16 have larger wettability to a fusible alloy 13 than wettability of metal terminals 11 and first insulating film 12. The area (S) of the metal layers 15, 16, the length (L1) and the volume (V) of the fusible alloy 13, the distance (L2) between the leading ends of the metal terminals 11, and the distance (d) from the bottom face of the second insulating film 14 to the top face of the metal layers 15,16 satisfy the relation of Sd>V(L1+L2)/2L1.

摘要: A thin semiconductor film having at least one an edge is formed on a base whose material is different from the material of the thin semiconductor film. A laser beam, for example, is applied to the semiconductor film thereby to melt the semiconductor film including the edge for thereby beading the edge upwardly. The melted semiconductor film including the edge is solidified and hence recrystallized into a semiconductor crystal. A plurality of spaced reflecting films may be formed on the thin semiconductor film before the laser beam is applied. Various semiconductor devices including a thin-film transistor, a solar cell, and a bipolar transistor may be fabricated of the semiconductor crystal.

摘要: An outdoor unit according to the present invention includes an air-sending-device chamber including a heat exchanger disposed at least on the rear side within an outdoor unit body, a propeller fan having a plurality of blades and disposed on the front side of the heat exchanger, and a bell mouth disposed on the front side of the propeller fan to face an air outlet, a machine chamber in which a compressor is disposed, and a partition plate that separates the air-sending-device chamber and the machine chamber. The partition plate has a protruding shape protruding from the air-sending-device chamber toward the machine chamber. The partition plate has, on the side of the air-sending-device chamber, a recessed area corresponding to the protruding shape. The amount of recess of the recessed area is maximized at a position equal in height to the center of rotation of the propeller fan.

摘要: Provided is a propeller fan, including: a boss section including a tubular wall; and a plurality of blades extending in a radiate manner from an outer peripheral surface of the tubular wall of the boss section. Secondary flow control slits are each formed between a pair of the adjacent blades on the outer peripheral surface. The slit passes through the tubular wall to communicate between an inside of the boss section and an outside of the boss section. A downstream end of the tubular wall is closed, whereas an upstream end of the tubular wall is open. In side view, the slit extends obliquely to a rotation axis of the propeller fan, and extends obliquely in the same direction as a forming direction of a blade root portion of each of the plurality of blades.
