The invention relates to a precious metal preparation capable of radiation curing, in particular a gold preparation for the production of decorations on substrates capable of decoration firing, containing a precious metal and a medium capable of radiation curing. The printing medium according to the invention contains one or more organic compounds in particle form, which are insoluble and incapable of swelling in the printing medium and burn away substantially completely in decoration firing, as means of increasing the pigment volume concentration (PVC), whereby decoration quality is improved. Preferred means of increasing the PVC are organic pigments and organic polymers, used in particular in combination. Transfers according to the invention contain the precious metal preparation in radiation-cured form.

The invention relates to a processing and positioning device for processing catalyst support bodies. The device comprises a rotary indexing table, which comprises a turntable, which is rotatable about a longitudinal axis running in the axial direction of the turntable, and at least one loading platform, which comprises a holding device and is set up for releasably holding the catalyst support body on an outer surface of the catalyst support body. The invention also relates to a method for positioning catalyst support bodies which, by means of a circular movement, arranges the support bodies at positions that are in series according to the positioning along a circular line.

Red decorations on substrates which can undergo decorative baking, such as glass, porcelain, ceramic and metal, can be produced using nanoporous aluminium oxide membranes according to the invention, the nanopores of which contain ligand-stabilized gold clusters. The membrane is applied to the substrate followed by baking, resulting in formation of the red color. Alternatively, the membrane can be converted into a red membrane by thermolysis, after which the membrane is employed for production of the decoration. The membranes according to the invention can be obtained by bringing a nanoporous Al2O3 membrane into contact with a solution of a ligand-stabilized gold cluster, in particular one of the formula Au55L12X6, wherein L is a phosphane ligand and X is an anion.

The invention relates to mononoble metal dithiolates, more particularly water-soluble monogold(I) dithiolates, to their production and to their use for the production of noblemetal-containing decorations on firing-resistant substrates.
