A shaft (11) with premounted bearing blocks (13) or other functional components is placed in the mold, and the control valves subsequently are injection-molded on the shaft (11) in cavities (22) via feeders (23) to produce the control valve assembly. Afterward, the bearing blocks (13) can no longer be detached. Because they are produced separately, the bearing blocks can have a complex geometry. This allows a considerable degree of freedom in the geometric design of the control valve assembly while nevertheless ensuring cost-effective production.

The inertial separator (10) has a housing (18) which is provided with an inlet (11) for untreated gas and an outlet (12) for treated gas.     摘要: A fluid feed duct, which may be used for feeding a stream of recirculated exhaust gas into a stream of intake air for an internal combustion engine. The feed duct includes a hollow structure (10) into which a feed connection (12) is introduced via a joint structure (34). A ceramic pipe (16) is used to prevent heat from the exhaust gas stream from being conducted to mounts in the hollow structure (10) which represents the intake duct of the engine. Consequently, the intake duct can be manufactured of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material, since the risk of thermal overstressing is avoided. The feed connection also has a deflecting segment (19) which is provided in its sides with outlet openings (20). This enables the exhaust gas to be introduced in the direction of flow of the intake air, so that optimal mixing is assured and the hot exhaust gas stream is prevented from passing directly to the wall of the thermoplastic intake duct, thereby preventing the intake duct from being melted.

    摘要: An intake manifold (10) for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine includes a tubular intake distributor (12) from which a plurality of long intake tubes (13) extend and lead to the individual cylinders. Short intake tubes (14) likewise extend from the intake distributor and open into the respective associated long intake tubes (13). The intake distributor (12) and the long and short intake tubes (13, 14) are formed from a one-piece housing (11) which has a cavity (21) which intersects the short intake tubes (14). In this cavity (21) a control element (15) is installed, which includes flaps (16), flap frames (17), a shaft (19) and a control element frame (18). By moving the shaft (19) either rotationally or translationally, the short intake tubes (14) can be opened or closed. In contrast to arrangements known in the prior art, the control element (15) has no sealing elements which can catch or jam during assembly. Additionally, the arrangement of the flaps (16) on a continuous shaft (19) provides a space-saving apparatus.
