    摘要: A process for producing a hardenable composition with high storage stability containing scaly silica particles which consist essentially of foliar secondary silica particles and have a laminated structure, said process comprising: (1) a step of subjecting a silica sol, a silica hydrogel or hydrous silicic acid to hydrothermal treatment in the presence of an alkali metal salt to form tertiary agglomerated particles of the scaly silica in the form of porous three-dimensional disorderly agglomerates of foliar secondary silica particles, each secondary particle being formed by a parallel face-to-face alignment of a plurality of flaky primary particles which are overlaid one on another, and (2) a step of disintegrating and dispersing the tertiary agglomerated particles of silica in an organic polymer in the form of an aqueous emulsion by a wet method.

    摘要: To provide a stable water-repellent inorganic powder which is substantially free from re-dissolution of a silicon compound used for surface treatment whether an organic solvent is polar or non-polar.A water-repellent inorganic powder which is surface-treated with a silicon compound, wherein the silicon compound is one having a group reactive with the inorganic powder, and when the inorganic powder is dispersed in any of polar organic solvents and non-polar organic solvents, the retention of the silicon compound is at least 90%. Preferably, the silicon compound is an aqueous emulsion of any of methylhydrogen silicone oil, alkoxy-modified silicone oil, amino-modified silicone oil, epoxy-modified silicone oil, polyether-modified silicone oil or carboxyl-modified silicone oil, and to the aqueous emulsion, at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of a sorbitan fatty acid ester type, a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester type, a polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester type, a polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester type, an N-acylamino acid type, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type and a polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether type, is incorporated.

    摘要: To provide a process of treating particulates such as an inorganic powder or resin beads to impart water repellency, to effectively impart water repellency particularly to a porous inorganic powder or the like, without use of an organic solvent as a dispersion medium of a silicone oil.Water repellent particulates are produced by a first step of adding, to particulates, an aqueous emulsion of a silicon compound such as a silicone oil to apply surface treatment to the particulates with mixing and stirring in a dry state, and a second step of heating the treated particulates to bake the silicon compound on the surface of the particulates and to separate the aqueous medium in the emulsion. The aqueous emulsion of the silicon compound is preferably an aqueous emulsion of any one of methyl hydrogen silicone oil, dimethyl silicone oil, epoxy-modified silicone oil, amino-modified silicone oil, polyether-modified silicone oil and carboxyl-modified silicone oil.

    摘要: An all-solid lithium secondary battery has excellent reliability including safety. However, in general, its energy density or output density is lower than that achieved by liquid electrolyte systems.The all-solid lithium battery includes a lithium ion-conducting solid electrolyte as an electrolyte. The lithium ion-conducting solid electrolyte is mainly composed of a sulfide, and the surface of a positive electrode active material is coated with a lithium ion-conducting oxide. The advantages of the present invention are particularly significant when the positive electrode active material exhibits a potential of 3 V or more during operation of the all-solid lithium battery, i.e., when redox reaction occurs at a potential of 3 V or more.
