    Abstract: A vehicle driving assistance apparatus includes a sensing unit for sensing an object outside the vehicle and a processor for obtaining surrounding situation information, based on a location of the object outside the vehicle. The processor is further configured to determine whether the object approaches the vehicle from a traveling lane or a lateral lane, based on the determination of whether the object approaches the vehicle from a traveling lane or a lateral lane, to generate a control signal, and to provide the control signal to a vehicle control system of the vehicle. The generated control signal can control at least one of a drive apparatus of the vehicle, a steering apparatus of the vehicle, or a brake apparatus of the vehicle to either avoid collision between the vehicle and the object or to perform an action that reduces an impulse on the vehicle from the collision.

    Abstract: A vehicle control device includes at least one processor configured to perform operations including: performing a function related to autonomous driving based on a sensor signal from a sensing unit of a vehicle; autonomously driving the vehicle based on performance of the function related to autonomous driving; in a state in which the vehicle is autonomously driven, receiving an update request related to a first sensor of the sensing unit from a communication unit of the vehicle; determining presence of a second sensor configured to provide the sensor signal for performance of the function related to autonomous driving; and in response to reception of the update request, updating information related to the first sensor based on presence of the second sensor.

    Abstract: A driving system for a vehicle includes: a communication apparatus; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations that include: receiving, through the communication apparatus, Advanced Driver Assistance system (ADAS) information that is based on a location of the vehicle; determining, based on the ADAS information, whether to use at least one ADAS for the vehicle; and based on a determination of whether to use the at least one ADAS for the vehicle, providing a control signal for controlling at least one of a steering operation, a brake operation, or an acceleration operation of the vehicle.
