    摘要: An air conditioner is provided that may include a plurality of units including an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, the plurality of units being distributed at a plurality of layers or levels or stories in a building; and a controller configured to monitor and control the plurality of units. The controller and the plurality of units may include a communication unit configured to transmit/receive data in a wireless communication unit, respectively, and the communication unit may transmit/receive the data using a sub-giga band frequency. The plurality of units may transmit/receive data in a wireless communication scheme so that an indoor unit and an indoor unit, and an indoor unit and an outdoor unit may directly communicate with each other in a wireless scheme, and the indoor unit may directly communicate with the controller.

    摘要: An air conditioner is provided that includes a plurality of indoor units configured to be distributed and installed in a plurality of floors in a building; a controller configured to monitor and control the plurality of indoor units; and a wireless communication unit configured to transmit and receive data by the controller, the plurality of indoor units, and one outdoor unit using a wireless communication method. The wireless communication unit comprises a transmitter and a receiver using a Sub-GHz band frequency. The transmitter includes an optical orthogonal code generator configured to first cipher source data using an optical orthogonal code, and a narrow-band chaotic signal generator configured to secondarily cipher using a chaotic signal. The source data is sequentially encrypted through the optical orthogonal code generator and the narrowband chaotic signal generator and then transmitted.

    摘要: Disclosed is an air conditioner including a plurality of units having an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The plurality of units includes a controller configured to control an input/output and control to operate according to setting and a communication unit configured to transmit and receive data in a wireless communication method between the plurality of units. The communication unit includes a plurality of antenna connection units respectively connected to the plurality of antennas, and a transmission/reception unit configured to apply a signal of a certain frequency band to the plurality of antennas through the plurality of antenna connection units, and to process a signal received from the plurality of antennas. The communication unit includes a plurality of antennas, and is configured to transmit and receive data through multiple input and output, so that the plurality of units can directly communicate wirelessly, specify a frequency of a signal used in consideration of obstacles in a building and installation distances, and perform multiple input and output by using the plurality of antennas, thereby achieving stable communication by securing communication coverage, and improving efficiency and stability according to the management and operation of the air conditioner.

    摘要: Disclosed is an air conditioner system comprising at least one outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units. The plurality of units may be grouped into one or more groups. A wireless communication module may be provided at each of the plurality of units and configured to perform wireless communication using a Sub-GHz frequency band. The wireless communication module may include an encoder configured to encode a predetermined signal, a modulator configured to modulate the encoded signal according to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) using multiple subcarriers, at least one antenna having an antenna pattern formed on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), and configured to output a signal based on the modulated signal, a demodulator configured to demodulate a signal received at the at least one antenna, according to the OFDM, and a decoder configured to decode the demodulated signal. Accordingly, a high-quality wireless communication environment may be implemented.

    摘要: A communication device for pipes of an air conditioner disclosed herein transmits and receives communication signals using induced electromagnetic force, generated by a signal line wound around a core assembly, thereby facilitating for coupling between the core assembly and the signal line. Also, one type of core assembly can be commonly applied to various standards of pipes. Rainwater or foreign materials cannot permeate between the signal line and the core assembly by winding the signal line on the core assembly, despite of external installation, thus preventing breakdown or degraded communication performance of the communication device. Also, with forming a signal line mounting hole through the core assembly, the signal line is fixedly inserted through the signal line mounting hole, thereby preventing in advance a movement of the core assembly even though a refrigerant pipe vibrates.

    摘要: Disclosed is an air conditioner and a control method thereof, the air conditioner where a plurality of units is connected wirelessly to receive and transmit data with each other, and the control method in which an address is set in a wireless communication method using an initially set basic channel, a group is set in response to a response signal, and communication is performed with an indoor unit belonging into the same group through a new channel. Accordingly, the plurality of units in the air conditioner is able to receive and transmit data with each other wirelessly, and a group is set with respect to multiple units so that the multiple units are able to communicate with each other directly. Additionally, because a group is able to be easily set with respected to units connected via a pipe by setting a channel, it is possible to reduce a time for setting wireless communication and make the communication setting accurate. The present disclosure allows units to communicate using a different channel according to which group each unit belongs to, thereby preventing intervention between groups and malfunction of units.
