摘要: A bottom bracket assembly with interconnected axle and crank arms. Each end of the axle has a plurality of angled surfaces and a recess formed with a depth through at least the axle perimeter and at least partially around the perimeter of the axle. Each crank arm has a slot formed a distance along the length such that the end of the crank arm is separated into two deflectable jaws. A bore is formed orthogonal to the slot and a fastener is installed in the bore, wherein the fastener has a length to span the slot in the crank arm to engage both deflectable jaws. The fastener has a shank radius that extends to a depth of the recess. Removal of the crank arm from the axle end is opposed when the fastener is in the bore.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods associated with a micromobility transit vehicle battery connection and lock. In accordance with one or more embodiments, a micromobility transit vehicle is provided. The micromobility transit vehicle may include a frame, a battery configured to be received at least partially within the frame, and a battery lock within the frame. The frame may include a downtube having a recess disposed therein. The battery may be configured to be received within the downtube and the recess to establish a continuous surface comprising one or more outer surfaces of the downtube and one or more outer surfaces of the battery. The battery lock may be positioned within the recess and configured to engage the battery to lock the battery in place.

The modular battery assembly may include an arched floorboard panel configured to provide a floor board surface for the micro-mobility fleet vehicle. The battery cell assembly may include a honeycomb battery cell holder and a collector board atop the battery cell holder to provide wire bond interconnects between the battery cells.

摘要: In one embodiment, a micromobility transit vehicle includes a frame including a downtube having a recess, a battery configured to be received within the recess of the downtube such that an external surface is formed by the outer surfaces of the downtube and the battery, a power connector within the recess and configured to be engaged with the battery to establish an electrical connection between the power connector and the battery, and a spring assembly coupled to the power connector and configured to allow the power connector to move with the battery. The power connector includes one or more alignment pins configured to align the power connector with the battery when the battery is being received within the recess. The spring assembly biases the power connector toward a direction from which the recess is configured to receive the battery.

The steering assembly may include a steer tube configured to rotate within a headtube of the micromobility transit vehicle, and a stiffening brace positioned about the headtube. A stem may be coupled to the steer tube and the stiffening brace and configured to rotationally lock the stem and the stiffening brace together. A preload assembly may be coupled to the steering assembly and the stem and configured to adjust a preload of the steering assembly.

摘要: Systems and methods related to securing batteries to micro-mobility transit vehicles are disclosed. For example, a micro-mobility transit vehicle may have a battery compartment and a battery compartment door having a first end and a second end. The battery compartment door may provide a floorboard surface for the micro-mobility transit vehicle where the first end of the battery compartment door is hingedly coupled to the micro-mobility transit vehicle and the second end of the battery compartment door includes at least one pair of prongs extending from the second end and at least one breakaway tab physically coupled to each pair of prongs. The battery compartment door and a battery disposed within the battery compartment may be electromechanically secured to the micro-mobility transit vehicle by engaging locking cams on the breakaway tabs.

A multimodal transportation system may include a docking station including a securement point, and a micromobility transit vehicle securable to the securement point of the docking station. The micromobility transit vehicle may include a storage basket and a lock cable including a first end coupled to the storage basket and a second end. The second end of the lock cable may be securable to the securement point of the docking station to lock the micromobility transit vehicle to the docking station. The storage basket may include a pin lock. The pin lock may engage a locking pin of the lock cable to lock the micromobility transit vehicle via the lock cable.
