Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus for docking vehicles includes a housing structure comprising two side portions and a top portion connecting the two side portions, the two side portions and the top portion forming a cavity for receiving a portion of a vehicle, an electrically-powered locking assembly, carried by the housing structure, for securing the housing structure to the vehicle in response to the portion of the vehicle being received by the cavity of the housing structure, an electrically-powered communication device, coupled to the housing structure, for enabling data communication over a network, and a solar panel, carried by an external surface of one of the side portions of the housing structure, for independently converting light received by the solar panel into electrical energy.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods associated with a powertrain for a micro-mobility fleet vehicle. The fleet vehicle may include at least one drive wheel to provide tractive contact between the flee vehicle and a road surface, an electric motor mechanically coupled to the drive wheel and configured to provide motive force for the fleet vehicle, a brake resistor configured to provide dynamic braking of the motor, and a motor controller electronically coupling the brake resistor to the motor. The motor controller may be configured to control the motive force provided by the motor using the brake resistor. The motor controller may be configured to limit a speed, power, and/or acceleration of the motor using the brake resistor based on an operational environment of, and/or on a directive received by, the fleet vehicle. The brake resistor may provide a relatively wide range of traction control for the fleet vehicle.

The second end of the lock cable may be securable to the securement point of the docking station to lock the micromobility transit vehicle to the docking station. The storage basket may include a pin lock. The pin lock may engage a locking pin of the lock cable to lock the micromobility transit vehicle via the lock cable.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for a rear triangle configuration for a micromobility transit vehicle. In accordance with one or more embodiments, a micromobility transit vehicle is provided. The micromobility transit vehicle may include a seat tube, a wishbone seat stay including a fork and post connecting the fork to the seat tube, a collar connected to the post and rotatable about an axis defined by the post, and a lock cable connected to the collar to rotate about the post. The fork may be connected to a pair of chain stays, such as via a pair of rear dropouts, to extend around a portion of a rear wheel. The rear dropouts may include a vertical dropout structure and positively lock to an electric motor, such as via complementary structures. A channel may be disposed in a rear dropout to receive a motor cable running to the electric motor.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes collecting data from at least one component of a micromobility vehicle. The method includes analyzing the data to determine whether a condition of the micromobility vehicle corresponds to an unsafe condition. The method includes determining, based on analysis, that the condition of the micromobility vehicle corresponds to the unsafe condition. The method includes activating an immobilization lock on the micromobility vehicle to immobilize a wheel of the micromobility vehicle responsive to determining that the condition of the micromobility vehicle corresponds to the unsafe condition.
