Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide modular battery assemblies for micro-mobility fleet vehicles. A modular battery assembly for a micro-mobility fleet vehicle includes a battery assembly enclosure including an assembly retention interface configured to physically secure the assembly enclosure to a subframe assembly of the micro-mobility fleet vehicle, a battery cell assembly disposed within the battery assembly enclosure, and an enclosure lid mounted to the assembly enclosure. The modular battery assembly may include an arched floorboard panel configured to provide a floor board surface for the micro-mobility fleet vehicle. The battery cell assembly may include a honeycomb battery cell holder and a collector board atop the battery cell holder to provide wire bond interconnects between the battery cells.

A multimodal transportation system may include a docking station including a securement point, and a micromobility transit vehicle securable to the securement point of the docking station. The micromobility transit vehicle may include a storage basket and a lock cable including a first end coupled to the storage basket and a second end. The second end of the lock cable may be securable to the securement point of the docking station to lock the micromobility transit vehicle to the docking station. The storage basket may include a pin lock. The pin lock may engage a locking pin of the lock cable to lock the micromobility transit vehicle via the lock cable.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a micromobility transit vehicle includes a frame including a downtube having a recess, a battery configured to be received within the recess of the downtube such that an external surface is formed by the outer surfaces of the downtube and the battery, a power connector within the recess and configured to be engaged with the battery to establish an electrical connection between the power connector and the battery, and a spring assembly coupled to the power connector and configured to allow the power connector to move with the battery. The power connector includes one or more alignment pins configured to align the power connector with the battery when the battery is being received within the recess. The spring assembly biases the power connector toward a direction from which the recess is configured to receive the battery.

Abstract: Systems and methods related to seat clamp assemblies for micro-mobility transit vehicles are disclosed. A seat post clamp assembly may include a seat clamp configured to physically secure the seat post clamp assembly to a seat post tube of the micro-mobility transit vehicle. The seat clamp may further include an adjustment handle coupled to the seat clamp via a first fastener and a second fastener. The first fastener may be inserted through a first through-hole of the seat clamp, a second through-hole of the seat clamp, and a first fastener slot disposed in the adjustment handle. The first fastener may be received in a first axle disposed in the adjustment handle. The second fastener may be inserted through a third through-hole of the seat clamp and a second fastener slot of the adjustment handle. The second fastener may be received in a second axle disposed in the adjustment handle.

The battery mount assembly may be installed on the frame of a micro-mobility transit vehicle to assist in expedient replacement of battery packs that electrically power the micro-mobility transit vehicle.
