    摘要: A disk playback device with disk changer functions and having a stacker for storing two or more disks for playback allows a new disk to be added or disks to be changed without removing the stacker. The disk playback device is also convenient for playback of single disks not to be stored in the stacker. Transport of the disks is accomplished by displacement of holders in which the disks are individually received. When a disk is in the read position, it is clamped in place and the holder is lowered to a nonobstructing position to allow the disk to be read. The number of holders exceeds the number of stored disks, whereby a vacant holder is available for conveniently reading a disk not stored in the magazine.

    摘要: A signal processing method for determining base sequence of nucleic acids by subjecting digital signals to signal processing, said digital signals corresponding to an autoradiograph of plural resolved rows which are formed by resolving a mixture of base-specific DNA fragments or base-specific RNA fragments labeled with a radioactive element in one-dimensional direction on a support medium, which comprises steps of:(1) preparing at least two one-dimensional waveforms composed of signal position along the resolving direction and signal level for each band;(2) detecting a position where signal level is maximum on one of the one-dimensional waveforms;(3) comparing the signal level at said maximum position on the one-dimensional waveform with signal levels at the corresponding positions on one-dimensional waveforms adjacent thereto, to determine a maximum position on the one-dimensional waveform having the highest signal level to be a band position;(4) detecting a subsequent position where signal level is maximum on said one-dimensional waveform having the band position; and(5) repeating in order the steps (3) and (4) to thereby determine all band positions on the resolved rows.

    摘要: The base sequence of nucleic acids is determined by subjecting digital signals to signal processing, where the digital signals correspond to an autoradiograph of plural resolved rows which are formed by resolving a mixture of base-specific DNA fragments or base-specific RNA fragments labeled with a radioactive element in one-dimensional direction on a support medium.The method involves detecting at least two bands in the lower part of each resolved row and numbering the bands consecutively from the lower end, obtaining correlation between the band's number and a resolved distance thereof for each resolved row, and then determining the difference in the resolved distance between the resolved rows from the resulting correlation and making correction for the resolved position on each row by taking the difference as a locational deviation of the rows from each other.

    摘要: A seabed mound creating method suitable for a construction of a large scale offshore structure comprises the steps of setting up a plurality of sheet piles along the outer periphery of a mound creation region in a seabed area of soft ground to form an earth-retaining wall projecting from the seabed, and raising the ground level of the seabed within the earth-retaining wall by depositing soft soil into the earth-retaining wall to heap the deposited soil to a predetermined height. The method further comprises the step of implementing a ground improvement process to both the heaped-up soft soil and the soft ground of the seabed within the earth-retaining wall so that the ground improvement process is provided to a predetermined depth below the seabed, thus to form a seabed mound integral with the improved ground. The seabed mound may be provided at the upper portion with a projection area serving as a shear key with respect to a horizontal external force. Such a seabed mound can eliminate difficulty in supplying mound materials even when constructing a structure in an offshore area. When the ground improvement process is equally implemented to both a seabed ground and the heaped up soft soil, the seabed integrally formed with the improved ground can be created. Thus, a great shear strength due to such an integral structure can resist a horizontal external force, thereby ensuring high security.
