    摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for object presentations by means of an electronic display system, such as a shelf with an integrated lighting system for illuminating objects positioned on a surface of the shelf in order to create appealing object presentations for example in shops, museums or homes. A basic idea of this invention is to integrate a display system such as a lighting system into a presentation device for quickly and easily creating a decoration effect such as a light effect for attracting people. The invention provides in an embodiment an apparatus (10) for object presentations comprising a presentation device (12) with a surface (14) to display an object (16) being placed on the surface, and an electronic display system (18) being integrated in the presentation device and adapted to create a decoration effect (20) on the surface. By integrating the display system in the presentation device, on which an object to be presented may be placed, the decoration effect is created from the bottom, i.e. from below the object, and, thus, does not require as much space as a decoration effect from above the object may require.

The control unit is arranged such that depending on the elapsed time between deactivation of and subsequent reactivation of the switching signal, the control unit sets the current drive settings in a predetermined manner. Within a first predetermined time interval a subsequent drive setting of the light sources is employed, after a second predetermined time interval a previous drive setting of the light sources is employed, and within an intermediate time interval, arranged between the end of the first predetermined time interval and the end of the second predetermined time interval a predetermined drive setting is employed.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an active matrix display device, more particularly an electrowetting display device, comprising at least two rows of pixels and being provided with selection wires (RW) and data wires (COL) for addressing of the pixels. The pixels in each row are arranged with a respective connection (CW) to a common reset (RST) wire that is arranged to transmit a reset signal. The respective connection (CW) is arranged to be interconnected with the data wire (COL) of the pixel when the pixel is addressed. Further, the respective connection (CW) is arranged with a signal blocking element (D) for preventing a data signal of the pixel from propagating via the reset wire (RST) to pixels in the same row.
