    摘要: In biosensor system 1, biosensor 2 is mounted in measuring apparatus 3 for quantifying or detecting existence of a targeted substrate in a sample solution. Mounting end portion 20 of biosensor 2 to be mounted in measuring apparatus 3 has an extension of one base plate in the length direction, and further extensions of the other base plate in the width direction. Sensor mounting portion 30 of measuring apparatus 3 has a shape matching up with the shape of mounting end portion 20. Thereby wrong insertion of biosensor 2 in measuring apparatus 3 can be prevented. Further, varying shapes of plural biosensors 5 and 6 to have a common part and a non-common part, such biosensors can be handily measured by one measuring apparatus 7.

    摘要: An adaptor for body fluid measurement of the present invention includes a puncture instrument holding section for detachably carrying a puncture instrument for protruding a puncture needle and a measuring instrument holding section for detachably carrying a measuring instrument for analyzing body fluid with a biosensor, the biosensor being attached to the measuring instrument and having a body fluid supply part to which body fluid is supplied. With use of the adaptor, the body fluid can be measured easily and speedily with the puncture instrument and the measuring instrument attached thereto, which are independent from each other. The present invention further provides a measuring instrument including a puncture instrument holding section.

A biosensor 100 includes a substrate 1 having a quality deciding section 13 and a sample receiving section 15 provided on the substrate 1 to which a sample is supplied. The quality deciding section 13 includes a moisture absorbing material changed in color through absorption of moisture. The sample receiving section 15 has a reagent section 7 including an enzyme reacted with a test substance as a substrate. The quality deciding section 13 includes a recess 17 formed in the substrate 1, the moisture absorbing material 16 disposed in the recess 17 and a film 18 with no air permeability substantially covering the opening of the recess 17 and closely adhered to the moisture absorbing material 16. Cobalt salt is used as the moisture absorbing material 16.

The puncture mechanism includes a puncture needle, and a cap which is detachably engaged with a body of the apparatus, wherein the cap has a skin contact surface which is brought into contact with the skin for puncturing. The skin contact surface having an opening through which the puncture needle moves to puncture the skin, and is shaped so as to fit a surface shape of the skin to be punctured. The set includes a plurality of different caps each corresponding to a different sample collection site so that a plurality of different sample collection sites can be selected.
