    摘要: A radio receiver with a low intermediate frequency has a first mixer stage that can be fed with a modulated input signal and at whose output a complex intermediate frequency signal can be derived. Connected downstream of the first mixer stage is a limiting amplifier at whose output the intermediate frequency signal is present in a discrete-value and continuous-time fashion. A sampling device, for sampling the intermediate frequency signal, and a digital demodulator unit are connected to the output of this limiter. The demodulated input signal can be derived at the output of this digital demodulator unit. The present radio receiver requires a low chip area in conjunction with low power consumption, but offers a high sensitivity and accuracy based on the digitally implemented demodulation.

    摘要: An electronic device is equipped with an oscillator interface to be coupled to an oscillator crystal of an oscillator element. The electronic device includes an oscillator circuit which is coupled to the oscillator interface and generates an oscillator signal. The electronic device is further provided with a temperature measurement interface to be coupled to a temperature sensor of the oscillator element so as to receive the temperature signal. For accomplishing temperature compensation, the electronic device is provided with a measurement controller coupled to the measurement interface and configured to measure a first value of the temperature signal at a first point of time and a second value of the temperature signal at a second point of time. A frequency drift estimator is provided so as to estimate a frequency drift of the oscillator signal on the basis of the first value of the temperature signal and a second value of the temperature signal. By means of a compensation logic, a frequency compensation signal for the oscillator circuit is generated on the basis of the estimated frequency drift.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a receiver arrangement, for example, in a mobile radio, which allows the use of slowly locking phase locked loops for a point-to-point connection between two transceivers, even in the case of a heterodyne receiver structure. The need to change channels between a transmission slot and a reception slot is avoided by virtue of a changeover device being provided for the purpose of interchanging the in-phase and quadrature components at the input side on a down-conversion frequency mixer. This advantageously allows either the upper sideband or the lower sideband of a useful signal to be down-converted without the need to change channel.
