摘要： A method for producing a weather strip having a molded end portion joined to an end of an extruded weather strip having a base portion and a tubular seal portion. The method includes the steps of cutting-off a portion of the tubular seal portion from the end of the extruded weather strip with the base portion thereof remaining uncut, placing the uncut base portion of the end of the extruded weather strip in a cavity of a mold, placing a core along the uncut base portion, injecting a molding material into the cavity to mold a tubular part having a configuration conforming to the cut off tubular seal portion integrally with a fin-like end part extending from the tubular part, opening the mold, and removing the core from the tubular part along a reverse face of the fin-like end part.

At this time, the polyamide composition contains, based on the total weight of the polyamide 6,10, the glass fiber, the copper and the nucleating agent, (a) 48.9 to 79.988 percent by weight of the polyamide 6,10, (b) 20 to 50 percent by weight of the glass fiber, (c) 0.002 to 0.1 percent by weight of the copper, and (d) 0.01 to 1.5 percent by weight of the nucleating agent, and the result of measuring half-crystallization time of the polyamide composition is 5 minutes or less. In addition, the polyamide 6,10 used has a relative viscosity, as measured in 98 percent sulfuric acid, of 2.3 to 2.9.

摘要： A door weather strip capable of surely closing a gap between a door of a motor vehicle and a door opening portion of a vehicle body while exhibiting excellent sealing properties with good appearance. The door weather strip includes a base portion for attachment to an outer periphery of the door, and a seal portion which is integrally formed with the base portion for contacting the door opening portion. The seal portion includes a main seal and a sub-seal which is provided on an outer side of the main seal. The sub-seal has a protrusion which protrudes from the base portion towards the door opening portion, and a tubular part having a generally triangular cross-section. One corner of the tubular part is integrally joined to the protrusion such that one wall which faces the one corner is located between the door and the door opening portion.

摘要： There is provided a weather strip in which a mounting base portion of the weather strip includes a portion formed into a substantially L-shape in cross section which has at least a bottom wall and an exterior side wall. A pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape is securely affixed to an internal surface of the exterior side wall. A stretch and contraction prevention portion is formed on the exterior side wall in a position which lies more centrally in a width direction of the exterior side wall than a connecting portion where the exterior side wall and the bottom wall are connected together. When the mounting base portion is curved in the width direction, a neutral plane of the curve is made to reside within the stretch and contraction prevention portion.

摘要： A vehicle seal that prevents the sealing capability with respect to a window glass from decreasing. The vehicle seal is attached to a frame defining a window glass opening of a vehicle to support a peripheral portion of a vertically movable window glass. The vehicle seal includes a main body arranged along the frame of the opening. Seal lips are formed integrally with the main body to contact the surface of the window glass. The seal lips include, on at least one side of the glass, an intermediate seal lip and a cover seal lip that is located closer to a center of the opening than the intermediate seal lip. An elastically deformable connecting portion connects the main body and the intermediate seal lip.
