    摘要: In a gas sensor element of a gas sensor, reference oxygen chamber (113) assumes the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped. A reference electrode (111) is disposed on a surface of a third solid electrolyte body (73) which is exposed to the reference oxygen chamber (113). A second outer electrode (117) is disposed opposite the reference electrode, on a surface of a second solid electrolyte body (77) which is exposed to the reference oxygen chamber. Further, a porous, insulative protection layer (165) is formed so as to cover the entire surface of the second outer electrode. A gap (167) is present between the reference electrode and the insulative protection layer. The thickness of the gap is greater than that of the insulative protection layer.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to prepare substances which are excellent in delivery and enable drugs to be retained in a body effectively over a long period and to construct a drug delivery system using the substances. When the delivering substance which is obtained by reacting polyalkylene glycol or a reactive derivative thereof, a phospholipid and a drug with each other to form covalent bonds is administered systemically or topically, the substance is retained at a target site in a body for a long period, thereby making it possible to sustain drug efficacy over a long period by a single administration.

When the input rod 23 is advanced beyond a predetermined distance relative to the valve piston 8, the sliding-type plate valve 52 is separated between two of the plate valve parts 53, 54, 55 to make the bypass passage 51 communicate with the inside of the valve piston 8.

    摘要: A character overlapping with a line of an entry box is extracted utilizing a dot box. At document input step S2, a document to be recognized is read and converted into electronic data to produce character box data. At electronic data storing step S3, the character box data read at the photoelectric transducing S2 is stored. At character detecting step S5, the character box data is contracted, small points are removed, and the remaining pattern is reversely expanded to produce character data. At entry box detecting step S4, entry box position data is generated from the character box data and character data. At relating step S6, a character pattern entered in each entry box is detected from the character data and the entry box position data. At character recognizing step S7, a character is recognized for the extracted character pattern and the results are stored at step S8.
