    摘要: An abnormality determination apparatus and method for a blow-by gas feedback device, and an engine control unit are provided for improving the accuracy of abnormality determination even when an intake air amount controller is provided in an intake system at a location downstream of a joint of a blow-by gas passage. The blow-by gas feedback device feeds a blow-by gas back to an intake system of an internal combustion engine through a blow-by gas passage connected to the intake system through a joint. The abnormality determination apparatus comprises an intake air amount sensor provided in the intake system at a location upstream of the joint for detecting an intake air amount, an intake air amount controller provided in the intake system at a location downstream of the joint for controlling the intake air amount, and an ECU for determining an abnormality of the blow-by gas feedback device based on the intake air amount detected by the intake air amount sensor after the intake air amount has changed due to the operation of the intake air amount controller.

    摘要: An abnormality determination apparatus and method for a blow-by gas feedback device, and an engine control unit are provided for improving the accuracy of abnormality determination even when an intake air amount controller is provided in an intake system at a location downstream of a joint of a blow-by gas passage.     摘要: An abnormality determination device for an EGR device, which is capable of determining the abnormality of the EGR device properly without interrupting the EGR operation. An ECU of an internal combustion engine detects an amount of fresh air drawn into a combustion chamber of the engine, carries out feedback control of the fresh air amount such that the detected fresh air amount converges to a predetermined target fresh air amount by controlling an opening of a throttle valve disposed in an intake system of the engine during execution of EGR by the EGR device. The ECU obtains a decreasing degree parameter which represent a degree of decrease in the fresh air amount caused by the feedback control, and determines abnormality of the EGR device based on the obtained decreasing degree parameter.

    摘要: An abnormality-determining device for a turbo-supercharger, which is capable of detecting abnormalities, including response delay of a movable member, with accuracy. A turbo-supercharger provided in an internal combustion engine has variable vanes 8c arranged in an exhaust turbine, for changing an area of a nozzle thereof. An abnormality-determining device stops supply of fuel to the engine, when the engine is in a predetermined operating condition, actuates the variable vanes, after actuating the same toward one of an open side and a closed side, toward the other of the sides, during the stoppage of fuel supply, detects a supercharging parameter indicative of a degree of supercharging by the turbo-supercharger, and determines abnormality of the turbo-supercharger based on a change in the supercharging parameter detected during the actuation of the movable vanes.

    摘要: An abnormality determination device for an EGR device, which is capable of determining the abnormality of the EGR device properly without interrupting the EGR operation.     摘要: A control system for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The engine has an exhaust gas recirculation device which includes an exhaust gas recirculation passage for recirculating exhaust gases from the engine to an intake system of the engine, and an exhaust gas recirculation control valve provided in the exhaust gas recirculation passage, for controlling a flow rate of the exhaust gases. An air-fuel ratio control amount is calculated based on an output of the air-fuel ratio sensor provided in the exhaust system of the engine. The air-fuel ratio of the air-fuel mixture supplied to the engine is controlled with the air-fuel ratio control amount. A failure of the exhaust gas recirculation device is determined based on a changing component of the air-fuel ratio control amount when changing an opening of the exhaust gas recirculation control valve in a predetermined cycle.
