The modularized fuel cylinder comprises a supporting frame fixed to the fuel cylinder, fuel pipes neighboring the fuel cylinder and a joint box on which the fuel pipes concentrate attached to the supporting frame integrally. The fuel cylinder module is detachably fixed to a car-body side supporting frame provided on a rear floor of the motorcar.

Disclosed is an automotive floor panel assembly, in which the floor panel assembly is stamp formed into a prescribed shape from at least one piece of sheet metal blank which consists of a first panel section made of sheet metal stock of a first thickness, and a second panel section made of sheet metal stock of a second thickness which are butt welded to each other along opposing edges thereof by using a high energy beam. Because the butt welding is carried out on flat panels, welding quality can be maintained at a high level without any substantial difficulty, and the resulting blank can have a highly uniform finish even though it includes a plurality of parts having different thicknesses. By suitably arranging the various parts having different thicknesses to different parts of the floor panel assembly in an optimum fashion, it is possible to achieve a maximum mechanical strength and a maximum rigidity with a minimum amount of material or involving a minimum weight. Also, the floor panel assembly can be applied either to a front floor panel assembly or to a rear floor panel assembly.

A central holder bar is installed on the locking pins of the center frame. The battery box also has an inner frame including a left straight frame with locking pins and a right straight frame with locking pins. A left holder bar and a right holder bar are installed respectively on the locking pins of the left straight frame and the right straight frame. A laminated material as a damping member welded to a panel of a vehicle body comprises a lower sheet of a foamable mer-sheet, an upper sheet of a non-foamable mer-sheet and an intermediate sheet of a reduced size to be interposed between the upper and lower sheets, wherein the upper and lower sheets are welded together at their peripheral end portions which come into direct contact with each other in laminated state. This structure probilits any irregularities present on the body panel surface from appearing on the upper surface of the laminated material and provides a good damping effect. A method for welding a laminated damping material to a vehicle body panel uses an oven which is used in a coating step of a vehicle body assembly line, dry heat of the oven permitting the layer of a foamable material to get foamed and fluidized when the damping material is passed through the oven the coating step, thus providing a thermal welding between the damping material and the panel. This method simplifies the assembling operation.
