The sensor comprises a magnetic field generating element disposed on one end of a rotatable throttle shaft, a magneto-sensitive element disposed opposite to the field generating element at a position fixed relative to a throttle body and spaced apart from the field generating element, the magneto-sensitive element generating an output whose level changes with the rotation of the throttle valve shaft relative to the throttle body, a housing forming an integral part of the throttle body to accommodate the field generating element and the magneto-sensitive element, and an electrical circuit converting the output of the magneto-sensitive element into an electrical signal, the electrical circuit including a circuit adjusting the zero level and maximum level of the output of the magneto-sensitive element.

    摘要: A semiconductor acceleration sensor is formed by a cantilever having a conductive movable electrode of predetermined mass at one end, at least one pair of fixed conductive electrodes which are stationary with respect to the movable electrode located on opposing sides of the movable electrode, and gaps provided between the movable electrode and the fixed electrodes. To prevent the movable electrode becoming fused to the contacted fixed electrode, in a first aspect of this invention, an insulating layer is provided between the movable electrode and fixed electrodes, the layer being either on the movable electrode or on the fixed electrodes and in a second aspect the movable electrode or, preferably, the fixed electrodes, are formed of a high melting point material. In such a second aspect, to improve adhesion between the high melting point material and a substrate to which the fixed electrodes are mounted, a lower melting point material is firstly coated on the substrates. A sensor detector unit processing circuit has the output characteristic of the circuit digitally adjusted by suitable switching of a plurality of resistors, and the sensor chip and the detector unit integrated circuit may be located on a common base and mounted in a hermetically sealed chamber to prevent adverse environmental effects affecting operation of the sensor and detector unit assembly. A gas having a dew point of -40.degree. C. or lower is, advantageously, charged into the hermetically sealed chamber.

    摘要: A rotational position sensor having a compact and simple structure, in which a magnetic surface can be formed to have a more accurate shape, and an electronically controlled throttle device for an internal combustion engine, which employs the rotational position sensor. The rotational position sensor comprises a pair of substantially half disk-shaped magnetic cores disposed in an opposed relation to each other with a magnetic sensitive device interposed therebetween, a pair of substantially arc-shaped magnetic cores disposed in an opposed relation to each other along outer peripheries of the half disk-shaped magnetic cores, and a permanent magnet fixed in contact with at least one of the arc-shaped magnetic cores. Magnetic flux generating from the permanent magnet flows successively through one of the arc-shaped magnetic cores, the half disk-shaped magnetic cores, and the other of the arc-shaped magnetic cores, followed by returning to the permanent magnet. The half disk-shaped magnetic cores or the permanent magnet is rotatable, and the magnetic sensitive device detects an amount of the magnetic flux varying with rotation of the half disk-shaped magnetic cores or the permanent magnet.

    摘要: A non-contact sensor for sensing a rotational position of a rotating object is provided. A ring-shaped permanent magnet magnetized in the axial direction is sandwiched between two pairs of magnetic plates from above and below. Two pairs of upper and lower protruded magnetic substance portions are provided between the upper and lower magnetic plates at opposite outer ends thereof. Magnetic sensitive devices are inserted in air gaps between the two pairs of upper and lower protruded magnetic substance portions. A magnetic flux generated from the ring-shaped permanent magnet is substantially concentrated to the protruded magnetic substance portions and passes the magnetic sensitive devices. The amount of magnetic flux passing each magnetic sensitive device is substantially proportional to the rotational angle of the ring-shaped permanent magnet. The rotational position of the ring-shaped permanent magnet and hence the rotational position of a rotating shaft supporting the ring-shaped permanent magnet can be sensed in a non-contact manner as a signal output from the magnetic sensitive device. Since the magnetic flux is effectively concentrated to positions where magnetic sensitive devices are attached, a non-contact rotational position sensor having high accuracy and high sensitivity can be obtained.

    摘要: A pressure sensor superior in pressure resistance and capable of covering from a low to high pressure range as a measuring range is to be provided. Plural pressure sensing sections for high and low pressures are formed on a silicon board, the pressure sensing sections each com ing an outer frame portion, a diaphragm portion, a strain gauge portion and an electrode portion. The silicon board side with the strain gauge portions formed thereon and an insulating substrate having electrode take-out portions are bonded together in such a manner that the strain gauge portions are hermetically sealed and that the electrode portions on the silicon board and the electrode take-out portions of the insulating substrate are electrically connected with each other, to constitute a pressure sensing unit. The pressure sensing unit, a low-melting glass and a stem are laminated together in such a manner that lead pins are electrically bonded by solder to the electrode portions of the silicon board through the electrode take-out portions of the insulating substrate. In this state, the low-melting glass is melted to bond the pressure sensing unit and the stem with each other.
