摘要: There is provided a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger, including a first step of mounting an end part of flat tube to a header, assembling the flat tube and fins, and sealing a part where the header and the end part is attached, and a second step of increasing an internal pressure of the flat tube to expand other part of flat tubes aside from the end parts with respect to the end part of the tube in order to make the fins and the other part of the flat tube in contact each other. According to this method of manufacturing, in the second step, the other part of the flat tube that passes through the fins is expanded, so that it is possible to mechanically join the flat tube and the fins, and a plate fin-type heat exchanger with high strength and heat exchange efficiency can be easily provided.

摘要: A front end portion of the inserted terminal position correcting jig is inserted into an opening formed in a peripheral wall provided extendedly from the rear portion of a connector housing, which opening functioning as its pivot center and having a correcting operation checking member therein, thereby to shift the jig toward the housing pivoting on the opening, and by this operation the jig is fitted with the rear end portion of the terminal which is still in an incompletely inserted state so as to shift the terminal to a completely inserted position and securely locked, wherein since the correcting operation checking member formed in the opening is removed when the front end portion of the jig is inserted, whether or not the correcting operation is perfectly done can be checked from outside by a removal or deformation of the correcting operation checking member.

摘要: An electrical connector is provided for detecting a terminal holder's projecting from a connector housing easily. The electrical connector includes a first connector housing, a second connector housing having a hood for receiving the first connector housing, and the terminal holder. The terminal holder is provided with an engagement groove which abuts on the hood when the first connector housing is engaged with the second connector housing by mistake. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the first connector housing having the terminal incompletely inserted therein from engaging with the second connector housing.

摘要: A first connector housing has a coupling noticing member slidably mounted therein orthogonally to the connector housing coupling direction. An operating portion is provided in one outward end of the coupling noticing member. An actuating portion is provided in the coupling noticing member and has an inwardly tapered face with a falling gradient, the tapered face being directed oppositely to the connector housing coupling direction. A second connector housing engaging with the first connector housing has a projecting guide piece provided in an opening end of the second connector housing and abutting against the tapered face of the coupling noticing member. An actuating portion inserting recess is opened adjacent to the projecting guide piece in the second connector housing. The first connector housing has a resilient lock arm with a ramped locking protrusion and the second connector housing has a stepped portion abutting against the ramped locking protrusion.

摘要: A connector in which the longitudinal displacement of connection terminals is positively prevented even if electric wires are pulled rearwardly by an external force, so that the fitting property of the connector to a partner connector can be improved. In the connector according to the present invention, a plurality of solderless terminals (1) are chained to a carrier having feed holes (11), with each of the terminals having an electric-wire solderless contact portion (5) provided with a slot (4) for solderlessly connecting an electric wire. The terminals are severed from the carrier in such a manner that portions of feed holes (11) of the carrier remain in the rear end portions of the solderless terminals (1). Additionally, fitting portions (14) to be fitted into the feed holes (11) are formed on the bottom walls of a terminal holder (2) in which the terminals are received. Since the feed holes (11) are provided in the rear end portions of the solderless terminals (1), the strength of the solderless terminals (1) is not reduced. Furthermore, since the fitting portions (14) are provided so as to project from the bottom walls (12) of the terminal holder (2), the strength of the bottom walls (12) is likewise not reduced.

摘要: A nitrogen-containing molecular sieving carbon which contains at least 0.1 weight % nitrogen bonded to constituent carbon of the activated carbon. It exhibits improved ability to remove nitrogen oxides compared with the conventional adsorption methods using commercially available activated carbons or other absorbents. Also an economically advantageous system for removing nitrogen oxides is provided which needs no reducing agent such as ammonia, no oxidizing agent such as ozone, or no electrical and physical energy such as electron rays or ultraviolet light in its operation, needs no expensive catalysts, and can be semipermanently operated with regular changes of the relatively low-priced activated carbon.
