    摘要: A system for converting number of scanning lines converts a first number of scanning lines of a first digital video signal into a second number of scanning lines of a second digital video signal. The system comprises a discrete signal obtaining circuit supplied with the first digital video signal, for successively re-arranging a plurality of picture element information arranged along lines in a vertical direction with respect to a picture frame indicated by the first digital video signal within a time interval corresponding to the first number of scanning lines in units of each of the lines in the vertical direction in a time series manner, to obtain a discrete signal having a sampling frequency equal to a horizontal scanning frequency of the first digital video signal, a sampling frequency converter for converting the sampling frequency of the discrete signal obtained from the discrete signal obtaining circuit into a frequency equal to a horizontal scanning frequency of the second digital video signal, and a second video signal obtaining circuit for successively re-arranging an output of the sampling frequency converter in units of a plurality of picture element information along a direction of horizontal scanning lines in accordance with the second digital video signal in a time series manner, to obtain the second digital video signal using the second number of scanning lines.

    摘要: A multichannel record disc reproducing apparatus has a pickup cartridge for picking up signals from a multichannel record disc. A multiplexed signal was recorded on the disc by first multiplexing direct wave signals and angle-modulated wave signals which are recorded on opposite groove walls. Filters separate the picked up multiplexed signal into the direct wave signal and the angle-modulated wave signal. A demodulates circuit for demodulating the angle-modulated wave signal, thus separated. A matrix circuit separates the signals to obtain a plurality of separate channels from the direct wave signals and the demodulated signals. A circuit in a stage preceding the demodulator removes substantially all components of the higher harmonics at the carrier wave center frequency, which carrier was used for angle-modulating the original signal.

    摘要: A multichannel record disc reproducing system comprises a circuit for demodulating an angle-modulated wave picked up from a multichannel record disc. A circuit detects abnormal phenomena of the angle-modulated wave, whereupon an expansion circuit accomplishes a variable control operation. A middle frequency band and/or a high frequency band component of the demodulated signal is attenuated in accordance with the level thereof. A circuit is operated in response to the output of the detection circuit to stop a variable expansion control operation of the expansion circuit and imparts a specific attenuation characteristic to a signal passing through the expansion circuit.

    摘要: A system for demodulating angle modulated waves comprises a phase locked loop including a phase comparator and a voltage controlled oscillator. An attenuation means is inserted into the phase locked loop. This attenuation means does not affect the DC component of an input angle modulated wave, but does cause an attenuation with respect to an AC component, to cause a decrease in the loop gain. The phase locked loop has a DC lock range exhibiting a relatively wide lock range width even when the input level is relatively low and an AC lock range produced by the attenuation circuit and exhibiting a relatively narrow lock range width when the input level is relatively low. The attenuation means detects an abnormality in the angle modulated wave, the harmonics component of the direct wave, and the like. A variable attenuation circuit controlled by the output of the detecting means is varied in its attenuation quantity.

    摘要: A multichannel record disc reproducing apparatus comprises a first phase locked loop circuit including a phase comparator and a voltage controlled oscillator for demodulating an angle-modulated wave signal. The modulated signal is separated from a composite signal picked up from a multichannel record disc on which a multiplexed direct wave signal and an angle-modulated wave signal are recorded. The output of the first phase locked loop is a demodulated signal. A second phase locked loop circuit includes a phase comparator and a voltage controlled oscillator, supplied with the separated angle-modulated wave signal and having a lock range of a width which covers and is wider than the maximum lock range width of the first phase locked loop circuit. A synchronous detector compares the phases of the angle-modulated wave signal and the output signal of voltage controlled oscillator of the second phase locked loop. The synchronous detector operates when the phase difference of the two signals deviates sufficiently from a predetermined phase difference. Means are provided for reducing or removing noise components which are developed in the demodulated signal in accordance with the output of the synchronous detector. This noise reduction or removal is provided in the first phase locked loop circuit and/or in a channel for transmitting the demodulated signal.

A reproducing apparatus is designed to reproduce the second field in a sequence different from a sequence with which the recorded picture element data are reproduced from the information recording medium in the first field.

    摘要: A rotary recording medium has information signals recorded on a spiral or concentric tracks formed thereon as variations in geometrical configuration. The tracks comprise a mixture of digital recorded tracks which are recorded with a first modulated signal and analog recorded tracks which are recorded with a second modulated signal. The first modulated signal is a digital signal which has been time-sequentially multiplexed in terms of blocks at a transmission frequency of 44.1 kHz or a frequency extremely close to 44.1 kHz and has then been subjected to a modulation, where each of the blocks are constituted by a synchronizing signal, error correcting codes, and an error detecting code, which are added to a plurality of channels of digital data which are digitally modulated information signals. The second modulated signal is an analog modulated analog information signal at least including a composite video signal. A number of blocks recorded in one track turn of the digital recorded tracks is approximately equal to a product of the transmission frequency and a duration of one revolution of the rotary recording medium.
