    摘要: This invention provides a mixer without a rotational or similar structure, capable of mixing quickly several liquids including at least one liquid being prone to gel or solidify, a mixing device with the mixer incorporated, and a medical component-measuring unit capable of reducing the formation of thrombi and accurately measuring the concentration of glucose, and with a small time constant, which unit can be incorporated into medical support devices, such as artificial endocrine pancreas devices. The mixer has an air bubble-trapping structure for temporarily trapping air bubbles supplied to a surface of a mixing channel through which liquids to be mixed flow. The mixing device has the mixer, an air bubble supplier or generator to make air bubbles exist in the mixing channel, and a liquid supplier for supplying liquids to be mixed to a liquid inlet. The medical component-measuring unit has the mixer or the mixing device.

    摘要: A paper magazine which can feed paper from a paper roll at high speed with high accuracy. Provided between a drive shaft and a paper feed roller are a normal rotation transmission for transmitting only the rotation of the drive shaft in the normal direction to the feed roller and a reverse rotation transmission for transmitting only the rotation of the drive shaft in the reverse direction to the feed roller. A rotation transmission mechanism is provided between the drive shaft and a core for nonrotatably supporting a paper roll to transmit both the normal and reverse rotations of the drive shaft to the core. To feed paper from the paper roll, the feed roller and the core are rotated in the paper feed direction, while controlling the rotating speed of the core so that the peripheral speed of the feed roller is higher than the peripheral speed of the paper roll when its diameter is maximum to apply suitable tension to the paper being fed. To rewind paper on the paper roll, the feed roller and the core are rotated in the paper rewinding direction, while controlling the rotating speed of the core so that the peripheral speed of the feed roller is lower than the peripheral speed of the paper roll when its diameter is minimum to apply suitable tension to the paper being rewound.

    摘要: This invention provides a biological component-measuring device, enabling the operator to easily calibrate the entire device and capable of measuring biological components accurately, and a method for calibrating the device. The device measures a sample including a body fluid taken through a body fluid sampler by sending it with a pump through a sample channel to a sensor. The device further includes a calibrating liquid channel through which a calibrating liquid can be supplied to the sensor via the sample channel by a switching of a first flow path changeover valve placed in the sample channel at a location upstream of the pump and connected to the channel. The method includes introducing the calibrating liquid in the calibrating liquid channel, via other channels, into the sensor by switching the valve.

    摘要: An improved apparatus for transporting disc films in a developing apparatus which includes a series of treatment liquid baths. The apparatus includes a support block by means of which a movable rail is supported so as to allow a hanger to slide therealong. The hanger is provided with a rotational shaft at the lower end thereof on which a plurality of disc films to be treated are carried. The support block is adapted to slide along a shaft which extends in parallel with the direction of transportation of the hanger and moreover it is adapted to turn about the shaft. The apparatus further includes a chain-sprocket mechanism which is operatively associated with the support block via a connecting rod and a moving member. During upward movement and lowering movement of the moving member the support block is caused to turn forwardly and backwardly whereby the disc films carried on the hanger are introduced into treatment liquid and removed therefrom. During forward movement of the moving member the hanger is transported to the next operative position located above the next treatment liquid bath while the disc films are raised up above the treatment liquid bath. During backward movement of the moving member a stopper becomes effective for allowing only the movable rail to move back while the disc films are kept to be immersed in treatment liquid in the next treatment liquid bath.
