摘要： This invention relates to a throttle control device for a hand held tool, such as a chain saw. The tool is provided with a forwardly extending wire (17) for transmitting a motion from a throttle control lever (12) turnably arranged about a first axis (14) to a throttle valve. One end of the wire is secured to a wire arm (15) that is turnably arranged about a second axis (16). The wire arm is provided with one or several teeth (19, 20) cooperating with corresponding means on the throttle control lever (12) and the second axis (16) is arranged behind the first axis (15).

摘要： A battery pack for powering a battery powered tool may include a housing, a plurality of cells and an electrical connection assembly. The housing may include a sidewall assembly configured to correspond to respective sidewalls of a battery compartment defined at a portion of the battery powered tool to facilitate insertion of the battery pack into the battery compartment. The sidewall assembly may form an enclosure around the plurality of cells on all sides substantially parallel to the direction of insertion. The electrical connection assembly may be disposed at a portion of the sidewall assembly to communicate the combined output to a connector disposed at a corresponding sidewall of the battery compartment. The electrical connection assembly may be arranged to engage the connector responsive to movement of the battery pack in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of insertion of the battery pack into the battery compartment.

摘要： A battery-powered portable tool, such as a chainsaw, hedge trimmer or handheld drill, comprising: a housing (1), a driven element (2) supported by the housing (1), an electric motor (6) coupled to the driven element (2) so as to drive the driven element (2), a battery (5) electrically coupled to the motor (6) so as to supply electric current to the motor (6) and a control circuit (8) arranged to control the supply of electric current to the motor (6) from the battery (5), in which the control circuit (8) comprises a main switch (8) operable by a user and an auxiliary switch (10, 11) also operable by a user; in which the control circuit (8) has: an active state in which operation of the main switch (8) by the user allows electric current to flow to the motor (6) so as to cause the driven element (2) to be driven; and an inactive state in which operation of the main switch (8) does not allow electric current to flow to the motor (6) and so the motor (6) does not drive the driven element (2); in which operation of the auxiliary switch (10, 11) causes the control circuit (8) to change between the active and inactive states; and in which the control circuit is further provided with indication means (30) arranged to provide an indication to a user whether the control circuit (8) is in the active or inactive mode. The indication may be by the means of light emitting devices (31, 32) or a speaker (33); user-uploadable sounds may be stored in a memory (34) of the tool to enable a user to customise the sound of their tool.

The nut is adapted to engage the engagement portion of the bolt for securing a bar between the cover portion and the body, the nut having a rotation axis. Thereby, an attachment arrangement is achieved that facilitates changing of bars when the nut used in the attachment arrangement is captively arranged to the cover portion.

The invention is characterized in that the worm gear on one hand includes a spirally shaped element, prefabricated as a separate detail, and intended to cooperate with the gear pinion and on the other hand a sleeve shaped element that supports the spirally shaped element.
