A receive buffer is in communication with the core and configured to transmit the signals to the core at the first clock speed. A transmit buffer is in communication with the core and configured to receive signals from the core at the first clock speed. A sync is configured to receive signals in the receive buffer at a second clock speed and to transmit the signals from the transmit buffer at the second clock speed. The sync is in communication with the transmit buffer and the receive buffer.

摘要： A system for reducing clock speed and power consumption in a network chip is provided. The system can have a core that transmits and receives signals at a first clock speed. A receive buffer can be in communication with the core and be configured to transmit the signals to the core at the first clock speed. A transmit buffer can be in communication with the core and configured to receive signals from the core at the first clock speed. A sync can be configured to receive signals in the receive buffer at a second clock speed and to transmit the signals from the transmit buffer at the second clock speed. 摘要： Systems and methods electrically connect a first electronic device or electrical component, having a external electrical connector, to a circuit board of a second electronic device. A low-cost, user-installable connection system isolates mechanical stresses imposed on the external electrical connector to within the user-installable connection system, thereby preventing the mechanical stresses from reaching the circuit board in the second electronic device. If the connection becomes faulty, only the low-cost, user-installable connection system must be replaced.

In an embodiment, the apparatus comprises a computing device comprising means for providing battery power and means for altering a power profile of the computing device.

摘要： A wireless remote intercom emergency assistance system having a pendent transceiver designed to send signal through a telephone dialing device to a monitoring station for the operator to engage two-way voice communication between pendent transceiver device user and monitoring station, the system comprises: an RF transceiver which transmits a first signal in response to manual action performed on the wireless pendant by the user, the telephone dialing device receives the first transmitted signal and transmits a second coded signal to a monitoring station, the monitoring station computer is disposed to receive the telephone dialing device generated second signal, and transmit's a third signal to the identified telephone dialing device; the identified telephone dialing device receives the third signal and responsively transmits a fourth signal to the remote pendent transceiver device to open two-way voice communication between the pendent transceiver user and the monitoring station personnel for assistance.

The controller includes a calibration module that generates a plurality of reference states for a reference region of a disk of the disk drive. An initialization state generation module generates a plurality of initialization states for at least one other region of the disk as a function of the plurality of reference states, a displacement between the other regions of the disk and the reference region of the disk, and a reference state transition matrix. A control module generates a control signal for the drive device based on the plurality of initialization states.

摘要： An improved system and method for pen-based handwritten and keystroke data input into a computer system is disclosed. The system and method receives pen-based data entry from multiple related input boxes within a handwriting area on a digitizer pad. Thread-based processing allows each input box or group of input boxes to be separately evaluated, providing for continuous character recognition. Character strokes entered into each input box or group of input boxes are saved and interpreted together to allow more complete recognition of naturally written characters. Improvements on keyboard layouts are also disclosed.
