摘要:
Colon cancer cells in a sample are screened by analyzing the amount of expression of at least 2 or more genes or products thereof selected from the group of genes listed in Tables 1 and 30. As compared to conventional method, patients having colon cancer can be detected with higher accuracy. Colon cancer cells in stool are also screened by analyzing expression of genes selected from the group of genes listed in Table 37.

A lithium ion battery 11 is connected in parallel to a lead acid battery 9 charged with electric power generated by a generator 2. The lithium ion battery 11 has internal resistance smaller than internal resistance of the lead acid battery 9 and being charged with the electric power generated by the generator 2. An ECM 6 supplies an electric power generation command value based on a running state of a vehicle, and an ECU 7 controls the generator 2 for electric power generation by supplying the electric power generation command voltage to the generator 2.

An occupant protection apparatus can reduce the impact on an occupant as much as possible to securely protect the occupant even when a first-stage ignition means is in failed state. In igniting a first squib 3a for driver seat, if determined that the first squib 3a for driver seat has been diagnosed to be in failed state (S204), a second squib 3b for driver seat in place of the first squib 3a for driver seat is ignited at the time when the first squib 3a for driver seat is normally scheduled to be ignited (S400), then the first squib 3a for driver seat is ignited at the time when the second squib 3b for driver seat is normally scheduled to be ignited (S600), which enables explosion of a driver airbag apparatus 3 without a delay as much as possible to improve the assurance and reliability of occupant protection.

A flue gas desulfurizer having an absorption tower for bringing untreated flue gas into gas-liquid contact with an absorbent slurry, wherein there is provided heat recovery means for recovering heat from the flue gas passing through the flue gas inlet section of the absorption tower prior to gas-liquid contact, and to boiler equipment including heat release means for releasing the recovered heat to heat utilization equipment. This invention also relates to thermal electric power generation equipment including extraction feedwater heaters for heating boiler feedwater with steam from steam turbines, a flue gas desulfurizer using an absorbent slurry, and means for recovering heat from the flue gas passing through the flue gas desulfurizer and/or the absorbent slurry within the flue gas desulfurizer, whereby boiler feedwater is preheated by the recovered heat and then introduced into the extraction feedwater heaters.

A cooling system typically incorporated in an outdoor rest facility has a substantially vertical tower extending vertically through the roof of the outdoor rest facility and having an air passageway defined vertically therein. The air passageway has an air inlet port defined in an upper end thereof for introducing air into the air passageway. A water ejector is disposed in the upper end of the air passageway for ejecting a shower of water downwardly through the air passageway from the upper end of the air passageway. A water retriever is disposed downwardly of and spaced from the tower, for retrieving the shower of water falling through the air passageway. An air outlet port is defined between an open lower end of the tower and the water retriever, for discharging air cooled by the shower of water out of the air passageway.

A fuel-injection device includes a solenoid valve which adjusts a fuel-injection level of a fuel-injection pump by adjusting its throttling for the fuel-injection passage to supply the fuel to a compressor. A driving pulse to drive the solenoid valve is formed taking various factors into consideration. For example, the driving pulse is composed of a segment having a large duty ratio and a segment having a small duty ratio in order to secure a responsiveness of the solenoid valve. The driving pulse is formed on the basis of a change in electrical voltage to drive the solenoid valve, varying levels of voltage drop in a wiring harness installed for every cylinder, and of varying levels of responsiveness unique with fuel-injection pumps.
