    摘要: Fuel amounts injected by a fuel injection valve are summed from when an engine is started to when startup is complete. The temperature of a fuel-deposited part during engine startup is estimated, and an intake rate of a fuel injection amount to a combustion chamber is found from this temperature. A fuel deposition amount at completion of startup is estimated from the sum of fuel injection amounts and this intake rate. By increasing or decreasing the fuel injection amount after startup based on this fuel deposition amount, a post startup air-fuel ratio is rapidly stabilized unaffected by scatter of startup time.

    摘要: In an engine provided with a catalytic converter in an exhaust passage, the degree of deterioration of the catalyst in the converter is determined. Sensors detecting whether the air-fuel mixture supplied to the engine is rich or lean, are installed upstream and downstream of the converter, and an air-fuel ratio is feedback controlled based on the signal output from the upstream sensor. The soundness of the catalyst is assessed based on a difference between a change-over time of the upstream sensor and a change-over time of the downstream sensor, and a distinction is made between full catalyst deterioration and medium catalyst deterioration by introducing a dispersion value in the assessment process.

    摘要: With an electronically controlled throttle type internal combustion engine, where a target opening of a throttle valve is set according to a required output of the engine, and the throttle valve is opened and closed with an actuator so as to obtain a target opening; air quantity learning for learning and correcting the target opening of the throttle valve so as to obtain a target intake air quantity is performed by comparing an intake air quantity estimated based on a detection value of the throttle valve opening and an actually detected intake air quantity, at the time of idling the engine. After completion of the air quantity learning, friction learning for learning and correcting the target opening of the throttle valve so as to obtain a target engine output is performed while feedback controlling the throttle valve opening so that the engine rotation speed approaches a target idle rotation speed, at the time of idling the engine. In this way, it is possible to effect control which makes the throttle valve opening correspond very accurately to the required engine output, over a long period of time.

    摘要: When a vehicle is decelerating a controller of a motor-generator (2) computes a target charging current according to a charge state of a high voltage battery by a target charging current computing unit (23), and limits this current by a first limiter (24) having a limiter value. An electrical load current supplied to vehicle-mounted electrical loads is computed by an electrical load current detecting unit (27). A target generation current produced by the motor-generator (2) is computed by adding the target charging current and electrical load current, by a target generation current detecting unit (28, 30). This computed value is limited by a second limiter (31) having a limiter value which varies according to an engine rotation speed, ON/OFF state of an air-conditioner and speed ratio. When the vehicle is decelerating the motor-generator (2) is made to function as a generator driven by recovery energy, the high voltage battery and a low voltage battery for the vehicle-mounted electrical loads are charged without overcharging and excessive vehicle deceleration is prevented.

    摘要: In an internal combustion engine of gasoline direct injection type, there is arranged a gasoline vapor purging system. The vapor purging system has a vapor purging section which temporarily traps gasoline vapor produced in a fuel supply section of the engine and feeds the gasoline vapor through a vapor purge conduit into an intake section of the engine upon operation of the engine.     摘要: Acceleration corresponding to individual cylinders can be measured by an apparatus. The apparatus comprises a crankshaft position sensor providing position signals, and a device including a programmed control unit. The device measures a first time period of rotation through a first rotation interval defined by first selected position signals separated by a first angle of rotation. It measures a second time period of rotation through a second rotation interval defined by second selected position signals separated by a second angle of rotation. It also measures a third time period of rotation between the first and second rotation intervals. Each of the first and second rotation intervals includes a selected power stroke. The first instantaneous speed is calculated as a function of the first measured time period and the second instantaneous speed is calculated as a function of the second measured time period. The device calculates a ratio of the difference between the first and second calculated instantaneous speeds to the third measured time period and determines the acceleration based on the calculated ratio.

    摘要: A coordinate input apparatus which performs an input operation with high precision by use of either an operator's finger or an input pen. The input apparatus includes a tablet having a plurality of X electrodes and Y electrodes arranged in the form of a matrix on the respective top and bottom surfaces of a glass substrate. The input apparatus also has a first oscillation circuit connected to the X electrodes through an analog switch. It is further provided with an input pen containing a second oscillation circuit. When the pen is used to perform the input operation through use of coordinates, the following method of determining the coordinates designated by the pen is employed. A voltage oscillating from the pen is applied to each electrode through capacitance, and the resulting output voltage varies depending on the distance from each electrode to the pen. Based on the varied output voltages, a predetermined computation process is executed to determine the coordinates designated by the pen. On the other hand, when the operator's finger is used to perform the input operation, the analog switch is switched to the first oscillation circuit. Then, a voltage at a predetermined frequency is sequentially applied to each of the X electrodes from the first oscillation circuit, and the voltage applied across the X and Y electrodes is changed due to a decrease in the capacitance therebetween caused by the touching of the finger. Based on this change, coordinates designated by the finger is detected.
