Abstract:
There is disclosed a static pressure bearing which is provided with plural fluid supplying pads for supplying a fluid in a gap between a guide member and a bearing member whereby the ratio of the change of pressure of the fluid supplied from the pads to the change in the gap is regulatable.
Abstract:
A conveyor device for alignment in which minutely displaceable members and hydraulic fluid supply pads are disposed between a slide and a guide. The relative position of the slide and the guide is adjusted by controlling the dimension of the minutely displaceable members.
Abstract:
A robotic cell enables a robotic station to be downsized and both high maintainability and high rigidity to be attained. To this end, the robotic cell for assembling parts by using multiple robots includes multiple booths for housing multiple trestles, on each of which a pair of robotic arms are mounted, with the trestles adjoining one another. Each trestle has an opening portion on one side surface thereof, through which a power controller box is carried in and out. To compensate for a decrease in rigidity of the trestle due to the opening portion, a connecting member is used for coupling two trestles adjacent to each other across the respective booths. Both end portions of each connecting member are fastened to the both trestles with screws, respectively.
Abstract:
A dynamic-pressure gas bearing structure includes a sleeve, a column-like shaft fitted to the sleeve, and a plurality of shallow grooves formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft and extending in the axial direction of the shaft. The shallow grooves are formed by grinding in which grains are aligned to the aforementioned axial direction. An optical deflection scanning apparatus is provided with such dynamic-pressure gas bearing structure.
Abstract:
A gripping apparatus includes a palm and a plurality of fingers having joints to grip a tool with the palm and the plurality of fingers. A palm side contact surface is provided on the palm and brought into contact with a tool side contact surface of the tool, and holes are provided in the palm side contact surface into which projections provided on the tool side contact surface of the tool can be inserted. Engagement of the projections in the holes determines a position of the tool in a tangential direction of the palm side contact surface and a position of the tool in a rotational direction around a normal line of the palm side contact surface which is a rotary shaft center.
Abstract:
A scanning optical apparatus has a stationary shaft and a rotary sleeve rotatably fitting to each other. The apparatus is arranged to deflection-scan a light beam by rotating a rotary polygon mirror attached to the rotary sleeve. In the apparatus a second permanent magnet, which is repulsive to a first permanent magnet mounted on the stationary shaft, is disposed on a lower end side of the rotary sleeve. Further, a third permanent magnet is placed on a base to which the stationary shaft is fixed so that the third magnet can provide a repulsive force in a direction to urge the second permanent magnet toward the first permanent magnet.
Abstract:
A motor supported by a dynamic pressure fluid bearing supporting a rotatable member by the dynamic pressure of fluid created by rotation is hermetically sealed with respect to the outside. The motor further includes a fixed shaft with the grooves and a rotatable sleeve. The rotatable sleeve is engageable with the fixed shaft and an optical member are mounted on the rotatable shaft.
Abstract:
A dynamic pressure bearing device a relatively rotatable shaft member and sleeve member, accommodating the shaft member, are relatively supported with respect to a thrust direction and a radial direction, and wherein there is provided a circulation passageway for circulating a fluid along at least a part of a thrust surface between the shaft member and the sleeve member.
Abstract:
In making reflection mirrors for optics, a technique is provided for making up a reflection mirror not of a glass-system material but of metallic material, and a method for high-precision mirror-machining of a metal plate is also disclosed.
Abstract:
An elastic roller composed of an axial core member and an elastic, liquid retentive layer of foam structure with uniform layer thickness surrounding the circumference of said core member, said elastic roller further comprising a flexible, liquid permeable member in the form of a cylinder or sleeve having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of said roller, said flexible member being disposed to cover the circumference of said roller and having extensions extending beyond both side ends of said roller and being shrunk along the ends of said elastic foam structure layer at both sides, respectively, so as to cover also said side ends of the layer with said flexible member. A method of making the elastic roller is also disclosed.
