Abstract: A radio-frequency module includes a mount board, an antenna terminal and a ground terminal, a low-noise amplifier, a first inductor, and a second inductor. The mount board has a first principal surface and a second principal surface on opposite sides of the mount board from one another. The low-noise amplifier includes a transistor configured to amplify a signal. The first inductor is disposed on one of the first principal surface and the second principal surface of the mount board. The first inductor is connected to the antenna terminal. The second inductor is disposed on the other of the first principal surface and the second principal surface of the mount board. The second inductor is connected between the transistor and the ground terminal.

Abstract: A radio-frequency module supports carrier aggregation in which radio-frequency signals in a plurality of frequency ranges are simultaneously transmitted, simultaneously received, or simultaneously transmitted and received. The radio-frequency module includes a plurality of first filters, a plurality of second filters, a switch coupled to an antenna element and the plurality of first filters and configured to control connection and disconnection between the antenna element and each of the plurality of first filters, and a switch coupled to the antenna element and the plurality of second filters and configured to control connection and disconnection between the antenna element and each of the plurality of second filters. No combination of filters selected from both the plurality of first filters and the plurality of second filters are used for carrier aggregation.

Abstract: A frontend circuit includes a wide-band filter, a transmit filter, and switches. The wide-band filter passes both the receive frequency band of a first communication frequency band and that of a second communication frequency band which is close to or overlaps that of the first communication frequency band. The transmit filter passes the transmit frequency band of the first or second communication frequency band. The switches are capable of simultaneously bringing, into conduction, at least two of multiple filters including the wide-band filter and the transmit filter. In carrier aggregation using the receive frequency bands of the first and second communication frequency bands, the switches simultaneously bring the wide-band filter and the transmit filter into conduction. Thus, in carrier aggregation using signals of multiple communication frequencies simultaneously in communication, attenuation of signals due to signal leakage in two receive frequency bands, which are close to each other, is suppressed.

Abstract: A switch circuit includes first and second switches. The first switch includes a first common terminal and at least two first selection terminals selectively connected to the first common terminal. The second switch includes at least one second common terminal and at least one second selection terminal selectively connected to the at least one second common terminal. One of the at least two first selection terminals and the at least one second common terminal are connected to each other via a path passing through a first multiplexer. Another one of the at least two first selection terminals and the at least one second common terminal are connected to each other via a bypass path bypassing the first multiplexer.

The electronic component includes four or more filters, each of which includes an input terminal and an output terminal. The IC component includes a first switch connected to the input terminals of at least four of the four or more filters and a second switch connected to the output terminals of the at least four filters. The input terminals of the at least four filters are in a first region including a center of the electronic component when viewed in plan in the thickness direction of the mounting substrate. The output terminals of the at least four filters are in a second region between the first region and a perimeter of the electronic component when viewed in plan in the thickness direction of the mounting substrate.
