Abstract: A power supplying system that includes a power supplying mechanism, an electric load, a power line, and a storage pack. The power supplying mechanism supplies a DC power. The electric load is connected to the power supplying mechanism by the power line. The storage pack is connected to the power line. The charging/discharging curve of the storage pack has a step difference that passes through the rated voltage of the power supplying mechanism. An average discharging voltage on a lower-SOC side of the start point of the step difference is −20% or more of the rated voltage. An average charging voltage on a higher-SOC side of the end point of the step difference is +20% or less of the rated voltage.

Abstract: A first cell string provided in a first battery module has a larger allowable current value than a plurality of cell strings provided in second and third battery modules. The battery module is provided with a current limiting circuit that limits the charge and discharge currents of the second cell string. When the current value detected by a current sensor is zero, the switch is turned off. In this condition, when the terminal voltage value of the third cell string is different from the terminal voltage value of the second cell string, a second switch switches the connection between the second and third battery modules in order to interpose the current limiting circuit between the second and third cell strings.

Abstract: A power supply apparatus includes converters connected in parallel to a three-phase alternating-current power supply, input current detectors that detect current flowing through the respective three phases of the three-phase alternating-current power supply, and load current detectors that detect load current of the converters. Each of the converters includes AC-DC converters inputs of connected to two of the three phases. The AC-DC converters are connected in parallel to each other using a common output. The AC-DC converters that are driven maintain balance of output current. A controller determines whether switching between a driven state and a stopped state of the respective AC-DC converters is performed based on detection results from the load current detectors and switches between the driven state and the stopped state of the respective multiple AC-DC converters based on detection results by the input current detectors.

Abstract: A power storage system that includes a first power storage pack and a second power storage pack. The second power storage pack is connected in parallel to the first power storage pack. The charge/discharge curve for the second power storage pack has a step passing through the open-circuit voltage of the first power storage pack at a SOC of 50%. The average discharge voltage on the lower SOC side of the start point of the step of the charge/discharge curve for the second power storage pack is −25% or more of the open-circuit voltage of the first power storage pack at a SOC of 50%. The average charge voltage on the higher SOC side of the end point of the step of the charge/discharge curve for the second power storage pack is +25% or less of the open-circuit voltage of the first power storage pack at a SOC of 50%.

Abstract: An analyzing device includes a heating device, a cooling device, and a controller. The cooling device includes a piezoelectric pump, a check valve, an exhaust valve, and an air tank. The analyzing device heats a subject by the heating device. The cooling device drives the piezoelectric pump while the heating device heating the subject. With this, the outside air is sucked through a suction port and the air that is discharged from the piezoelectric pump is accommodated in the air tank through the check valve. Then, the pressure in the air tank is increased. Thereafter, the cooling device stops driving of the piezoelectric pump. With this, the air in the air tank is discharged toward the subject via the exhaust valve so as to cool the subject.

Abstract: A valve includes a valve body, a diaphragm dividing the inside of the valve body into first and second valve chambers and being displaced under a pressure of fluid, first and second openings in communication with the first valve chamber, and a third opening in communication with the second valve chamber. When a pump is not driven, the force applied to a side of the diaphragm facing the second valve chamber is greater than the force applied to a side of the diaphragm facing the first valve chamber, and the second opening is sealed by the diaphragm. When the pump is driven and the force applied to the side of the diaphragm facing the first valve chamber becomes greater than the force applied to the side of the diaphragm facing the second valve chamber, the diaphragm allows the first and second openings and to communicate with each other.

Abstract: A gas control apparatus includes an upper housing to which a second piezoelectric pump is joined, a lower housing to which a first piezoelectric pump is joined, and a diaphragm. The upper housing includes a discharge hole through which gas is discharged. The lower housing includes introduction holes through which gas is introduced, an opening, a first valve seat, a second valve seat, and a third valve seat. The diaphragm is sandwiched between the upper housing and the lower housing, and is fixed to the upper housing and the lower housing so that the diaphragm contacts the first valve seat, the second valve seat, and the third valve seat.
