Abstract: This environmental control equipment controls a plurality of environmental devices for adjusting the environment of an area including a plurality of subareas and comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires environmental information indicating the environment of each of the plurality of subareas and a subarea restriction indicating the restrictions on the environment of each subarea; a target value calculation unit that uses the environmental information and the subarea restriction as a basis to select a control subarea, for which the environment thereof is to be changed, from among the plurality of subareas and determines a target value for the environment of the control subarea; and an influence calculation unit for determining whether or not the change in the environment of subareas other than the control subarea caused by controlling an environmental device in order to satisfy the target value of the control subarea satisfies the subarea restrictions of the other subareas.

Abstract: System and methods for performing microgrids cooperation by optimal coalition formation in a distribution network are disclosed. A Microgrid Cooperation Module (MCM) is designed for utility EMS. MCM contains a coalition formation unit and an energy exchange decision unit. Furthermore, a communication protocol for energy exchange between two microgrids is designed. The coalition formation unit applies an innovative hierarchical coalition formation algorithm to provide optimal coalition for real time operation. The real time energy status of microgrids will be provided to coalition formation unit which will determine the coalitions (given a distance threshold) among microgrids to minimize the power loss. Energy exchange decision unit then determine actual energy transfer between pairs of microgrids within a coalition. Upon receiving the energy transfer information through a communication channel, the microgrids will start communicating and process energy transfer. The optimality of the formed coalitions is ensured by performing coalitional game theoretical analysis.

The station control device controls the switch and the distributed power supply on the basis of: demand power information indicating power consumed by the load; fuel efficiency information indicating the output-fuel consumption characteristics of the distributed power supply; the demand power information of another load to which another distributed power supply supplies power; and the fuel efficiency information of the other distributed power supply.
