Abstract: A distributed unit, DU, of a radio access node configured to operate in a scenario where the DU is one of multiple DUs serving links to a multi-connected entity, acquires a first DU radio resource configuration for the DU, acquires a first link radio resource configuration corresponding to a first link of a multi-connectivity link of a multi-connected entity, wherein the first link is served by the DU, acquires a multiplexing configuration of the multi-connectivity link, and determines availability of at least one radio resource for the multi-connectivity link based on the first DU radio resource configuration, the first link radio resource configuration, and the multiplexing configuration.

The method may include receiving, by a user equipment, an indication of a monitoring requirement (202, 204) for at least one of an idle mode of operation at the user equipment or a connected mode of operation at the user equipment; receiving, by the user equipment, information (206) for one or more transmissions (MBMS) that are multicast or broadcast; and measuring, by the user equipment, the one or more transmissions (MBMS) that are multicast or broadcast, the measuring performed in accordance with the received information (206) and without regard to the indication of the monitoring requirement (202, 204) for at least one of the idle mode of operation or the connected mode of operation. Abstract: Systems and techniques for minimize drive testing measurements. Network elements including UEs and eNBs are configured to define measurement procedures to determine control plane latency affecting scheduling requests, RACH procedures, and combinations thereof. Upon initiation of a request for uplink resources, such as a scheduling request or a RACH procedure, a UE notes the time of the request and measures the time until its fulfillment. If a scheduling request fails, a RACH procedure may be performed and in such cases, the time from initiation of the scheduling request, through its failure, until successful completion of the RACH procedure may be measured. Once a measurement has been made, the measured duration and other associated information are assembled and analyzed, and when the measurement and other information meets criteria for inclusion in a measurement report, the report is assembled and sent, or logged for sending, to an eNB.
