    摘要： Disclosed are a heat exchange element obtained by forming a sheet material or honeycomb structure having a shape required for a heat exchange element from an organic filler-filled sheet made from an acid-resistant glass fiber, dipping the formed sheet material or honeycomb structure in a suspension of an inorganic filler, at least a part of which is composed of scaly particles, and fixing the inorganic filler applied by the dipping treatment to the sheet material or honeycomb structure by a binder, and a process for the preparation of this heat exchange element and a heat exchange apparatus comprising this heat exchange element. A high acid resistance and a high gas-intercepting property can be maintained even by using a thin and light sheet material.

    摘要： An engine exhaust gas purifying device, and process, wherein the device provides a catalyst device for treating the exhaust gas, an adsorbing device for adsorbing materials from the exhaust gas and a heat exchanger. The device is configured so that high temperature exhaust gas from the engine passes through a high temperature side of the heat exchanger prior to passing through the adsorbing device. After passing through the adsorbing device, the gas passes through the low temperature side of the heat exchanger and then passes to the catalyst device. In an alternate embodiment of the present invention, the catalyst can be disposed in the low temperature side of the heat exchanger.

    摘要： The revolutions of a diesel engine are counted by providing vibration detector converting the vibration propagating through the fuel injection pipe into an electric signal; an amplitude sorter for receiving the electric output signal of the detector and providing an output signal when the amplitude becomes larger than a predetermined level; a waveform shaper for receiving the output signal of the sorter and converting respective pulse groups to single pulse outputs. The respective pulses from the sharper are judged to determine whether signal pulse in the present period is within a predetermined allowable range or not, and thereby determining whether respective pulses are "normal" pulses or not. The number of normal pulses per unit time are counted and displayed on a monitor.
