摘要： A trim strip has upper and lower trim-strip-side mating portions. A glass run body has, at its exterior part, body-side mating portions and an upper contacting portion contacting an upper part of an exterior surface of the trim strip. The upper contacting portion has a portion contacting the trim strip, and the portion is provided with a coating. The coating is formed of an elastic material reducing the sliding resistance to the trim strip.

摘要： A glass run for an automobile door is provided with an enhanced look of a design portion thereof, allowing the glass run to be deformed easily along the curved shape of a window frame during assembly to the window frame, thereby improving ease of assembly. The glass run includes a glass run body 21 including upper and lower planar portions 23a and 23c, and a design portion 29 forming part of appearance design of an automobile. A material forming the upper and lower planar portions 23a and 23c and a material forming the design portion 29 respectively contain a resin as a main ingredient. The material forming the design portion 29 is less rigid than the material forming the upper and lower planar portions 23a and 23c.

摘要： An object of the present disclosure is to generate a click feeling, and thus improve workability, in attaching a trim strip member to a sealing member, and to increase a retaining force retaining the trim strip member to the sealing member after the attachment, without an increase in the number of components and the number of assembling steps. A trim strip member 40 includes an upper engagement portion 42 and a lower engagement portion 43 at an upper portion and a lower portion of the trim strip member, respectively. A side of a sealing member body 21 facing outside of a passenger compartment includes a portion made of a rigid material that is harder than an elastic material, and is provided with an upper protrusion 25a and a lower protrusion 25b spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction, the upper protrusion 25a and the lower protrusion 25b respectively engaging with the upper engagement portion 42 and the lower engagement portion 43 of the trim strip member 40.

A glass run 20 includes an upper glass run edge 20a which is extrusion-molded, a rear connecting part 20f which is molded integrally with one end portion of the upper glass run edge 20a, and an exterior portion 29 provided on an exterior surface of the upper glass run edge 20a. A surface Si of the rear connecting part 20g on an outside of a passenger compartment is located further outside than a surface of the exterior portion.
