    摘要: An air conditioning system for a vehicle is disclosed. The air conditioning system includes a casing, an evaporator, a heater core at a rear side of the evaporator, and a mixing area for mixing a first air bypassing the heater core with a second air flowing through the heater core. The system further includes a partition plate for guiding the second air to the mixing area after the second air flows through the heater core, a foot passage, a defrosting passage, a vent outlet, and a defrosting outlet. The system still further includes a temperature controlling damper for controlling rates of the first air and the second air after the first and second airs flows through the evaporator so as to attain a predetermined final temperature of the air which is discharged into a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The system further includes a vent damper, a foot damper and a defrosting damper.

    摘要: A vehicle air-conditioning system has an evaporator for receiving air discharged into a casing of the system and changing the air to a cold air flow that can flow rearward, and a heater for selectively receiving at least a portion of the cold air flow and heating such portion to a warm air flow. The system includes partition means for directing the warm air flow to permit mixing of the warm air flow and the remaining cold air flow that bypasses the heater. The partition means includes a top end portion and guide means for downwardly directing the cold, warm, or the mixed cold and warm air which has flowed beyond the top end portion for blowing-out such air out of the system. The top end portion defines a surface having a streamlined or curved configuration along which the cold, warm, or mixed cold and warm air can flow.

The air-conditioning duct 1 has a top wall 16, a bottom wall 18 and side walls 12, 14 enclosing an interior space and at least one constriction 22, 24 formed by a projection protruding from at least one of the top wall 16 and the bottom wall 18 into the air-conditioning duct 1 so as to connect the top wall 16 with the bottom wall 18. The constriction 22, 24 continuously extends in an air flow direction so that cross-sectional areas of the constriction 22, 24 are constant in the air flow direction.

    摘要: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioner housing and an air intake formed in the air conditioner housing. An evaporator is disposed downstream of the air intake and an heater core is disposed downstream of the evaporator. Vent and foot outlets are formed in the housing downstream of the evaporator. The air conditioner further includes a first passage defined between the evaporator and the heater core and a guide plate disposed downstream of the heater core for directing hot air heated by passing through the heater core toward cool air not passing through the heater core. The air conditioner further includes means for conducting part of the hot air from the heater core guided by the guide plate to the vent outlet and/or for conducting part of the cool air not passing through the heater core to the foot outlet, and a first distributing mechanism for opening and closing the vent outlet and for selectively directing mixed air composed of the cool air from the evaporator and the hot air from the heater core guided by the guide plate toward the vent outlet and/or the foot outlet.

    摘要: An air conditioning system mountable in the rear of a vehicle having a vent mode and a foot mode is disclosed. The air conditioning system comprises a casing, an evaporator mounted at an upper front portion within the casing, a heater core mounted below the evaporator such that the evaporator and the heater core are not superposed when seen in a vehicle front-to-rear direction. A temperature controlling damper is provided for controlling rate of air which is directed toward the heater core so as to attain a selected final temperature of the air which is discharged into a passenger compartment of the vehicle.
